OK

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery,

and wait for at least 90 seconds.

(c) Connect the connector to the air conditioning control.

(d) Disconnect the connectors from the center airbag sensor.

(e) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and

wait for at least 2 seconds.

(f) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(g) Check the indicator according to the value(s) in the table

below.

CHECK CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery,

and wait for at least 90 seconds.

(c) Connect the connectors to the center airbag sensor.

(d) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery and

wait for at least 2 seconds.

(e) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60

seconds.

(f) Clear the DTCs

(g) Turn the ignition switch off.

(h) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60

seconds.

(i) Check for DTCs

DESCRIPTION

If the center airbag sensor receives signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, it determines whether the SRS

should be activated.

DTC B1690/15 or B1695/16 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the door side airbag sensor LH or RH

circuit.
