39. REMOVE GLOVE BOX LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

a. Detach the 2 claws.  

b. Remove the box light and then disconnect the connector.

40. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

a. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 clips and claw, and remove the speaker panel. 

HINT: 

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

41. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )  

42. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

a. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 clips and claw, and remove the speaker panel. 

HINT: 

Tape the screwdriver tip before use. 

43. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH 

a. Remove the 2 bolts.

b. Remove the speaker and disconnect the connector.  

44. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

a. Using a screwdriver, detach the 6 clips and 2 claws, and remove the speaker panel. 

HINT: 

Tape the screwdriver tip before use. 

45. INSPECT FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 10 Speaker Models) (See INSPECTION )

46. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD INSERT 

a. Remove the 4 bolts.  

b. Detach the 2 claws.  

c. Remove the safety pad and then disconnect the connector.  

47. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

a. Detach the connectors from the clamps and disconnect the connectors.

b. Remove the bolt and wire harness.

c. Remove the 2 passenger airbag bolts.  

d. Remove the 3 bolts and 2 nuts.  

e. Detach the 5 claws and remove the instrument panel.
