If the alignment distance is 7.62 m (25.0 ft.): 

The low beam cutoff line should be 53 mm (2.08 in.) below the H line (preferred cutoff line 
target) (SAEJ599). 



If the alignment distance is 3 m (9.84 ft.): 

The low beam cutoff line should be 21 mm (0.82 in.) below the H line (preferred cutoff line 
target) (SAEJ599). 

5. HEADLIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT 

a. Adjust the vertical headlight aim into the specified range by turning aiming screw A with a 

screwdriver.

HINT: 



Perform lo beam aim adjustment.  



The headlight aim moves down when turning the aiming screw clockwise, and moves up 
when turning the aiming screw counterclockwise.  

REASSEMBLY 

HINT: 



Use the same procedures for the RH and LH side.  



The procedures listed below are for the LH side.  

NOTE:

If the screw is tightened too much, loosen it and then retighten it so 
that the final turn of the screw is in the clockwise direction.

1. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB 

a. Insert the bulb into the headlight.

b. Turn the bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.  

2. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB 

a. Install the bulb to the socket.  

b. Insert the bulb/socket unit into the headlight.

c. Turn the bulb/socket unit in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.  

3. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB 

a. Insert the bulb into the headlight.

b. Turn the bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.  

4. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB 

a. Install the bulb to the socket.  

b. Insert the bulb/socket unit into the headlight.

c. Turn the bulb/socket unit in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.  

INSTALLATION

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE 
FOR STANDARD BOLTS )  

1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

a. Connect the connectors and install the headlight.  

b. Install the 2 screws and bolt.
