TROUBLESHOOTING

1.

Wiper low and wiper high do not work.

Inspect the battery supply voltage of 
wiper switch between connector
terminals 2 and ground.
OK : Battery voltage (12V)

Replace the fuse

Replace the wiper switch

Repair the wire harness and

poor ground

Wiper switch inspection

Replace the wiper motor

Windshield wiper motor inspection

Wiper fuse(25A) for short

When washer switch is on, wiper does not work.

Turn the ignition switch on, then 
measure the output voltage between 
BCM-C connector terminal 3 and ground.
- Washer switch ON : 0V
- Washer switch OFF : 12V

Replace the fuse

Repair the wire harness between 
BCM connector C terminal 3 and
washer switch connector terminal 12 or
inspect the washer switch.

Replace the BCM

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.

Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds
(A) after removing 3 screws.

Remove the wiper switch (A) after disconnecting the
connector and loosening 2 screws.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

1.

Check for continuity between the terminals while op-
erating the wiper and washer switch. If it is not normal
condition, replace wiper and wiper switch.
