be replaced;

Malfunction of
cooling
temperature sensor

Check if the resistance of coolant temperature sensor varies according to water
temperature; check if the resistance of sensor is 2.5 kOhm +/- 5% under 20 degree; if it's
abnormal, the temperature sensor for coolant should be replaced;

Check internal coil of cooling fan motor for break or short-circuit; disconnect connectors of
fan and connect battery and ammeter to the connectors; check if the current of cooling fan
while running should be 5.7 – 7.7 A; if it’s abnormal, the motor assembly of cooling fan
should be replaced;

Malfunction of

cooling fan should be checked and repaired;

Cooling fan
can’t work

Engine ECU

Check engine ECU internally for fault; if so; detect and clear code with diagnostic
equipment and then reset it; if it doesn’t work, then replace engine ECU;

No. 243 Weak running of cooling fan

Malfunction Cause

Solution

Malfunction of battery

Check if the voltage of battery reaches to 12.5 – 12.9V, if the over-low voltage
results in weak running of fan, the battery should be charged or replaced ;

Malfunction of cooling fan
fuse

Check fuse of cooling fan for good contact; if it’s broken, the cooling fan fuse
should be replaced;

Malfunction of cooling fan
relay

Check if fan relay is well power-on; or check if corrosion of pins will result in
weak running of cooling fan; if it’s abnormal, the cooling fan relay should be
replaced;

Check if internal bearing bush of cooling fan is over-worn resulting in loosing or
blocking of motor rotator and subsequent weak running; thus the motor
assembly of cooling fan should be replaced;

Check internal coil of cooling fan motor for break or short-circuit; disconnect
connectors of fan and connect battery and ammeter to the connectors; check if
the current of cooling fan while running should be 5.7 – 7.7 A; if it’s abnormal,
the motor assembly of cooling fan should be replaced;

Check internal brush of cooling fan motor for worn-out; if it’s  over-worn, the
motor assembly of cooling fan should be replaced;

Weak running of
cooling fan

Internal malfunction of motor
for cooling fan

Check if the fastening bolts for cooling fan blades are loosing or loose fitting;
tighten or replace fan blades;

Weak running of cooling fan

Low voltage of battery

Charge or replace battery

Poor contact of fan fuse

Replace fuse of fan

Poor power-on of fan relay

Replace fan relay

Short-circuit of fan motor

Replace fan motor

No. 244 Wiper can’t work

Malfunction Cause

Solution

Malfunction of fuse

Check fuse of wiper for break or short-circuit; if it’s abnormal, the fuse should be
replaced or the loop should be checked and repaired;

Malfunction of wiper
switch

Check internal contacts of wiper switch for short-circuit or open circuit; if it’s
abnormal, the wiper switch should be replaced;

Malfunction of wiper

controller assembly should be replaced;

Malfunction of harness

Check wiper loop for break or short-circuit; if it’s abnormal, the loop should be
checked and repaired;

1. Check if there is dropping-off at connection of wiper link and wiper motor; if so, and
the dropping-off results in malfunction of wiper, the link should be checked for
damage; thus the wiper link should be replaced;

Wiper can’t work

Mechanical
malfunction

2. Check connection of wiper link for bad lubrication resulting in blocking and
