Check if the voltage of battery reaches to 12.5 – 12.9V, if the over-low 
voltage results in weak running of blower, the battery should be charged

Check the fuse of blower for break and replace blower fuse if it’s broken;

the relay should be replaced;

Check every coil of blower adjusting resistance for conducting; if not, the blower 
adjusting resistance should be replaced;

No. 240 Abnormal sound of blower   

Malfunction Cause 

Solution 

Check working condition of brush for worn-out and if the friction between 
brush and rotator of blower results in abnormal sound; if it's abnormal, the 
blower motor or blower assembly should be replaced;   

 
Internal malfunction of blower 

Check bearing bush of blower for over-worn; if it's abnormal, the blower 
motor or blower assembly should be replaced;   

Check blower internally for other object; if so, the blower should be 
dismantled to take other object out;   

Abnormal sound of

Check fixing bolt of blower blades and fastening bolt of blower for loosing;

No. 241 Continuous running of cooling fan   

Malfunction Cause 

Solution 

Malfunction of fan 

relay  

Check #1 and #2 terminal of relay for conducting; if so, check #3 and #4 terminal of relay 
for conducting while applying positive voltage to #1 and #2 terminal; the #3 and #4 
terminal should be conducted; if the two contacts are still normal-close resulting in 
continuous running of fan, the relay should be replaced;   

1. Check if the opening temperature of thermostat is 80 – 84 degree; if not, recirculation 
and heat dispersion of cooling water will be bad and the high water temperature will 
result in continuous running of fan; then the thermostat should be replaced;   

Malfunction of 
thermostat  

2. Check thermostat valve for lift; when water temperature is about 93 degree, the lift 
should bigger than 8 mm; if not, insufficient recirculation and heat dispersion of cooling 
water will result in high water temperature and subsequent continuous running of fan; 
then the thermostat should be replaced;   

Temperature sensor 
for coolant   

Check if the resistance of coolant temperature sensor varies according to water 
temperature; check if the resistance of sensor is 2.5 kOhm +/- 5% under 20 degree; if it's 
abnormal, the temperature sensor for coolant should be replaced;   

Other malfunctions   

Check if there is leakage of coolant for radiator and cooling system; if so, it will result in 
insufficient cooling water and high water temperature and subsequent continuous 
running of fan, thus the leaking parts should be replaced or treated for sealing;   

Malfunction of 
harness  

Check harness of fan motor for short-circuit or mixed connection; if it’s abnormal, the fan 
loop should be checked and repaired;
