NOTE: The flexible exhaust pipe must not be 
twisted.

9. Detach the starter motor from the transmission 

and position it to one side.

CAUTIONS: 

If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, 

the affected area must be immediately 
washed down with cold water. 

Use suitable paper to absorb any 

escaping fluid. 

15. Discard the rear engine mounting bolt.

18. The lower right-hand transmission bolt remains

21. Support the transmission with a wooden block 

and secure it to the transmission jack using a 
retaining strap. 

General Equipment: 

Transmission jack

23. Support the transmission using the transmission 

jack and remove.
