Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Installation

1. Refer to:

Main Control Valve Body

CAUTION: Apply only minimal force to

the sensor.

Torque: 6 Nm

1. To install reverse the removal procedure.

Removal

1. Refer to:

NOTE: Note the position of the electrical
connectors.

NOTE: Make sure that the tape has not
detached from the edges of the component.

Installation

6. With every pass, undo the bolts one turn at a

time alternately.

CAUTIONS:

New engine front covers are supplied

with a crankshaft front seal alignment sleeve
which will be pushed out during installation.

Make sure that no component falls off

during removal.

installed.
NOTE: Only tighten the bolts finger tight at
this stage.

4. Torque: 10 Nm

NOTE: Make sure that these components are
installed to the noted removal position.

Torque:

10 Nm
