CAUTIONS: 

Make sure that the terminals or 

pins/sockets of the transmission control 
module (TCM) and the TCM connector are not 
bent or damaged. 

The component must be aligned with the 

installation markings. 
NOTE: The new TCM is set in the N position 
at the factory  

Torque: 

25 Nm

2. Check the mating face of the torque converter

1.

CAUTIONS: 

New crankshaft rear seal carriers are 

supplied with an alignment sleeve which 
must be removed after installation. 

Make sure that the specified installation 

depth is achieved. 

X = 0mm +/- 0.2mm 

Special Tool(s):

2.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to 

damage the seal. 

Coat the mating face of the torque converter with 
oil. 

Material: 

Automatic Transmission Oil E-AW 

(WSS-M2C924-A / 4U7J-M2C924-AA)

CAUTION: Make sure that the specified 

installation depth is achieved. 

X = greater than 34.5mm

CAUTION: Take extra care not to 

damage the mating faces. 

Mask the screwdriver with adhesive tape. 

General Equipment: 

Schlitzschraubendreher

 

1.

CAUTIONS: 

New crankshaft rear seal carriers are 

supplied with an alignment sleeve which 
must be removed after installation. 

Make sure that the specified installation 

depth is achieved. 

X = 0mm + 0.4mm/- 0.3mm. Use a suitable 
long-reach socket, size 15/16 mm.
