CAUTION: If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with 

cold water.

16. Remove both front wheels.

17. Remove the right-hand halfshaft.

18. Remove the left-hand halfshaft.

19. Remove the front subframe.

CAUTION: Twisting the exhaust flexible pipe more than 2 degrees may cause damage resulting in failure.

21. Remove the accessory drive belt.

22. Secure the Power Steering Pump to one side.

23. Secure the A/C compressor to one side.

24. Disconnect the PCM electrical connectors.

25. Disconnect the fuel supply line and fuel return line quick release couplings.

WARNING: Make sure that the engine and transmission assembly is on wooden blocks and secured with 

suitable retaining straps. 

Using a suitable workshop table.

28. Remove also the engine front mount stud. 

29. Raise the vehicle and remove the engine and transaxle assembly.
