Removal and Installation 

Removal 

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details. 

1.

CAUTION: Make sure that the brake 

pedal remains in the rest position. 
NOTE: The brake pedal actuating rod pin will 
be damaged during removal. 

Torque: 

24 Nm 

2. If equipped. 

3. Refer to: 

Brake Master Cylinder - LHD FWD

 (206-

06 Hydraulic Brake Actuation, Removal and 
Installation). 

4. Refer to: 

Battery

 (414-01 Battery, Mounting and 

Cables, Removal and Installation). 

5. Torque: 12 Nm

Installation 

1.

CAUTION: Make sure that the brake 

booster pushrod is correctly located. 

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Refer to: 

Brake Pedal and Bracket - RHD 

FWD

 (206-06 Hydraulic Brake Actuation, 

Removal and Installation).

NOTE: The brake pedal actuating rod pin will 
be damaged during removal.
