REMOVAL - REAR EXTENSION BELLY PAN

(1) Raise

(2) Remove the bolts and remove the pan. (Fig. 4)

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION - BELLY PAN

(1) Install the belly pan and install the bolts.
(2) Tighten the bolts to 28 N·m (21 ft. lbs.)
(3) Install the four bolts to the exhaust shield.

INSTALLATION - FRONT EXTENSION BELLY
PAN

(1) Install the pan and install the bolts.
(2) Tighten the fascia bolts to 4 N·m (35 in. lbs.).
(3) Tighten the headlamp bracket bolts to 4 N·m

(35 in. lbs.).

(4) Tighten the frame bolts to 28 N·m (21 ft. lbs.).

INSTALLATION - REAR EXTENSION BELLY PAN

(1) Install the pan and install the screws.
(2) Tighten the screws to 4 N·m (35 in. lbs.).
(3) Tighten the frame bolts to 28 N·m (21 ft. lbs.).

COWL SCREEN PANEL

REMOVAL

(1) Open the hood.
(2) Remove the windshield wiper caps. (Fig. 5)
(3) Remove the nuts and remove the windshield

wiper arms.

(4) Remove the screws and remove the cowl

screens. (Fig. 6)

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the cowl screen panels and install the

screws.

(2) Install the wiper blades and install the nuts.
(3) Tighten the nuts to 28 N·m (21 ft. lbs.).
(4) Install the nut caps.

FUEL FILL DOOR

REMOVAL

(1) Open the filler door and disconnect the filler

cap tether from the door. (Fig. 7)

(2) Remove the screws and remove the door.

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the fuel filler door and install the

screws.

(2)

Tighten the screws to 7 N·m (65 in. lbs.).

(3) Connect the fuel cap tether to the door.

FUEL FILLER HOUSING

REMOVAL

(1) To remove the fuel filler housing, (Refer to 14 -

(1) To install the fuel filler housing, (Refer to 14 -

FRONT WHEELHOUSE
SPLASH SHIELD

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the front wheel. (Refer to 22 - TIRES/

WHEELS - REMOVAL)

(2) Remove the two screws and two push pin fas-

teners. (Fig. 8)

(3) Remove the front splash shield.
(4) Remove the four fender screws.
(5) Remove the three lower push pin fasteners and

two inner screws. (Fig. 9)

(6) Remove the rear splash shield.

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the rear splash shield and loosely install

the six screws.

(2) Install

the

three

push

pin

fasteners

and

tighten the screws.

(3) Install the front splash shield and loosely

install the screws.

(4) Install the push pin fastener and tighten the

screws.

REAR QUARTER PANEL

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the sill panel. (Refer to 23 - BODY/EX-

TERIOR/SILL PANEL - REMOVAL)

(2) Remove the rear wheelhouse splash shield.

(Refer to 23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/REAR WHEEL-
HOUSE SPLASH SHIELD - REMOVAL)

(3) For the right side quarter panel, disconnect the

fuel filler tube. (Refer to 14 - FUEL SYSTEM/FUEL
DELIVERY/FUEL

TANK

FILLER

REMOVAL)

(4) Remove the tail lamp unit. (Refer to 8 - ELEC-

TRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING

EXTERIOR/TAIL

LAMP UNIT - REMOVAL)

(5) Remove the three fascia to quarter panel nuts.

(Fig. 10)

(6) Loosen the door opening weatherstrip at the

top of the quarter panel.

(7) Remove the three door opening screws. (Fig.

11) and (Fig. 12)

(8) Using a hole saw or equivalent, cut an access

hole in the door surround panel where indicated.
(Fig. 13)

(9) Remove the screw from within the hole cut pre-

viously and remove the adjustment bracket screw.

(10) Remove the upper quarter panel screws and

remove the quarter panel. (Fig. 14)

INSTALLATION

(1) Position quarter panel onto the vehicle.
(2) Install the front screws at the door sill mount-

ing brackets.

(3) Install the front top screw at the door sill and

tighten to 6 N·m (55 in. lbs.).

(4) Install the top screws and tighten in this

sequence to 6 N·m (55 in. lbs.).

(a) Tighten the top front screw.
(b) Tighten the top rear screw.
(c) Tighten the two top inner screws.
