REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Remove seat from vehicle (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/SEAT - REMOVAL).

(2) Remove front seat cushion (Refer to 23 -

BODY/SEATS/SEAT CUSHION - REMOVAL).

(3) Disengage J-strap attaching seat cover from

the seat cushion frame and ensure wire harness free
seat pan (Fig. 186).

(4) Separate the seat cushion cover and foam from

the seat cushion pan (Fig. 187).

(5) Remove seat cushion cover back to the hog

rings.

(6) Cut hog rings attaching seat cover to seat cush-

ion pad (Fig. 188) and (Fig. 189).

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

(1) Position seat cover on cushion.
(2) Align seat cover with cushion alignment inden-

tations.

(3) Install hog rings.
(4) Engage J-strap attaching seat cover to front of

seat cushion frame.

(5) Install track and recliner assembly. Tighten

front track to pan bolts to 12 N·m (9 ft. lbs.) torque.

(6) Install seat back.
(7) Install front seat cushion side shields.
(8) Install seat in vehicle.

INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Position seat cover to cushion and install hog

rings (Fig. 190) and (Fig. 191).

(2) Engage J-strap attaching seat cover to front of

seat cushion frame (Fig. 192).

(3) Install front seat cushion. (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/SEAT CUSHION - INSTALLATION).

(4) Install seat in vehicle. (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/SEAT - INSTALLATION).

HEADREST - FRONT/REAR

REMOVAL

(1) Raise headrest by depressing adjuster cap but-

ton. To remove headrest from seat depress adjuster
cap button and the adjuster cap release tab while
raising the headrest upward (Fig. 193) and (Fig.
194).

(2) To remove headrest, at the same time press the

button and release tab, and while pulling upward to
release headrest (Fig. 195) and (Fig. 196).

(3) Remove headrest from seat back.

INSTALLATION

(1) Place headrest into position.
(2) Push headrest down into the lock position.
(3) Press button to lower headrest and to raise it

(Fig. 198) and (Fig. 197).

(4) Ensure headrest locks at the last stop.

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

(1) Fold seat back down and then roll forward to

access disengage hooks (Fig. 199).

(2) Disengage hooks and remove seat from vehicle.

REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Fold rear seats forward and remove screw

attaching check strap. on each side of vehicle (Fig.
200).

(2) Remove latch covers. (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/REAR SEAT LATCH COVERS - REMOVAL).

(3) Fold seat back down and then roll forward to

access rear seat latch latching devises (Fig. 201).
