(7) Disconnect any electrical connectors and wire

ties from the bottom of seat cushion, if equipped (Fig.
172).

(8) Remove seat cushion from seat frame. (Fig.

173).

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

(1) Connect any electrical connectors and secure

wire harness with wire ties under the seat cushion, if
equipped.

Install two front side and two rear screws attach-

ing seat cushion (Fig. 174) and (Fig. 175).

(2) Install upper riser shield, if equipped
(3) Install the inner seat cushion and inner seat

belt. Tighten inner seat belt anchor screw to 40 N·m
(30 ft. lbs.) torque (Fig. 176).

(4) Connect wire connectors, if equipped. Install

seat back recliner handle/fold flat handle and front
seat cushion shield. (Fig. 177).

(5) Install front seat into vehicle.

INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Place seat cushion and seat pan in position on

seat frame.

(2) Connect any electrical connectors and secure

wire harness with wire ties under the seat cushion, if
equipped (Fig. 178).

(3) Install two front side and two rear screws

attaching seat cushion (Fig. 179) and (Fig. 180).

(4) Install upper riser shield, if equipped
(5) Install the inner seat cushion and inner seat

belt. Tighten inner seat belt anchor screw to 40 N·m
(30 ft. lbs.) torque (Fig. 181).

(6) Connect wire connectors, if equipped. (Fig.

182).

(7) Install seat back recliner handle/fold flat han-

dle and front seat cushion shield (Fig. 183).

(8) Install front seat into vehicle. (Refer to 23 -

BODY/SEATS/SEAT - INSTALLATION).

FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

(1) Remove seat from vehicle (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/SEAT - REMOVAL).

(2) Remove front seat cushion (Refer to 23 -

BODY/SEATS/SEAT CUSHION - REMOVAL).

(3) Disengage J-strap attaching seat cover from

the seat cushion frame and ensure wire harness free
seat frame (Fig. 184).

(4) Remove seat cushion cover to the hog rings.

(5) Cut hog rings attaching seat cover to seat cush-

ion pad.

(6) Remove seat cushion cover from seat cushion

(Fig. 185).
