Door Limiter 

Disassembly and Assembly 

l.  Remove  the  connecting  bolts  between  the 

limiter and B column. 

 

 

2.  Unscrew  the  two  fixing  bolts  between  the 

limiter and door. 

 

 

3.  Remove  the  stopper  code  from  the  door 

cavity.   

 

 

Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly. 

Assembling  requirements:  The  tightening  torque  of  bolt  shall  be  7.2±0.7  N·m.  the  torque  of  bolt 

mounted on the door post shall be 25±3 N·m, and the torque of bolt mounted on the door shall be 9±1 

N·m. The door stopper shall operate flexibly and reliably, without being clamped, seized and etc. The 

lubricating grease shall be applied between the tower rod and slide block of the limiter.

Disassembly of Windshield 

Disassemble the Windshield 

l.  In  the  vehicle,  pass  a  piano  wire  through  the  gap 

between the body and windshield. 

2.  Apply  the  wood  blocks  or  equivalents  to  seize  up  the 

both ends of piano wire.   

Hint: The adhesive tape is applied in the  outside  of  piano 

wire  to  avoid  damaging  the  external  surface  of 

windshield.   

WARNING: 

When  detaching  the  glass,  take  care  not  to  damage  the 

painted surface and  outside/inside trims.  To  void scuffing 

the  instrument  panel  when  disassembling  the  windshield, 

a  plastic  sheet  can  be  placed  between  the  piano  wire  and 

the instrument panel. 

Pull  the  piano  wire  along  the  surrounding  of  windshield, 

cut off the adhesive, and remove the windshield. 

WARNING: When cutting off the adhesive of windshield, 

leave as much adhesive on the body as possible. 

Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly. 

Assembly of Windshield 

Do  not  touch  the  surface  of  windshield  after 
cleaning 

l.  Apply  a  knife  to  remove  the  coarse  parts  from  the 

body. 

Hint: Leave as much adhesive on the body as possible. 

2.  Apply a cloth soaked in cleaning solution to clean the 

cutting surface of adhesive. 

Hint: Even though all adhesives are removed, the surface 

of body shall be cleaned. 

Detach the Stopper: 

Apply a knife to detach the stopper.
