5.  Loosen the air pipe from the fuel tank to canister. 

 

6. 

Loosen the fuel pump outlet and oil return pipe. 

 

 

7. 

Unscrew the three fixing bolts on the saddle. 

 

 

8.  Remove the  fuel  tank, and  disconnect the harness 

of fuel pump. 

Disassemble the fuel tank cap. 

Unscrew the two fixing bolts, and remove the fuel 

tank cap. 

 

Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly. 

Assembling requirements: The assemblage clearance between the fuel tank cap and the body shall be 

uniformly (3±0 5) mm. the maximum error of flatness between the edge of cover and the edge of rear 

fender is ±0 5 mm, which can’t make an influence on its appearance.

The assembled fuel tank cap’s radian transition to the body shall be smooth without any defaults that 

may  affect  its  appearance.  The  fuel  tank  cap  shall  be  assembled  and  adjusted  to  its  proper  position 

without  looseness  and  shaking,  and  the  circlip  shall  have  two  sections  of  obvious  tightening  force 

when opening/closing the fuel tank cap. For the fuel tank cap with central door lock, its locking  pins 

shall  be  adhered  firmly,  and  the  adhering  position  shall  be  accurate  to  ensure  that  the  fuel  tank  lock 

can operate accurately and steadily.

 

Replacement of Fuel Tank Cap Guy 

l. 

Remove  the  bumper  moulding  of  front  left 

and rear left door. 

2.  Disassemble the trim of left B column. 

3. 

Remove the cushioning of rear seat (See   

Disassembly of Seat). 

4. 

Remove the upper trim of spare tire. 

 

 

5. 

Disassemble the trim inside the right boot. 

 

 

6.  Unscrew the two fixing bolts on the fuel tank 

handle and loosen the guy. 

 

7.  Turn the guy and pull out the fuel tank control 

cable.

Chapter Three Interior Accessories 

Disassembly of Roof Lining Cover: 

Disassemble the following parts 

l. 

Remove the weather strip from the door frame. 

 

2. 

Remove the A column trim. 

 

3. 

Remove the B column trim. 

 

 

4. 

Remove the C column trim.

5. 

Remove the left/right sun visor.

1   Unscrew  the three  fixing screws  on the sun 

visor. 

 

②  Disconnect the  harness, and remove the sun 

visor. 

 

 

6. 

Remove the front ceiling lamp (map lamp). 

①  Open the  map lamp cover, and  unfasten  the 

two screws.
