4. Check if there is any bad contact for the
following:
·Storage battery terminal cable;
· Connection between negative cable and
cylinder and/or chasis
·Connection between positive cable and starter
solenoid and/or junction box.
·EBCM terminals A11, A, B, C
·EBCM ground wire in the chasis.
Are the above connections satisfactory?

1. EBCM still remains detached.
2. Storage battery cable still remains detached.
3. Connect one ohmmeter between EBCM wire
harness terminal C and storage battery negative
cable.
Is the resistance within the range required?

1. Description of circuit
This troubleshooting code is used to
identify the possible internal faults of
EBCM.

2. Conditions for setup of
troubleshooting codes
DTC C0055 will be set up when there is
possible fault of internal
component/microprocessor.

3. Actions to be taken for setup of
troubleshooting codes
(1) The electromagnetic relay is turned off
and pump motor and solenoid are
disconnected with the power source. ABS
and DDRP are both disabled;
(2) Save DTC C0055;
(3) ABS is disabled and ABS alarm lamp
is on.

4. Conditions for clearing
troubleshooting codes
(1) If the conditions for setting up
troubleshooting code DTC C0055 are gone,
corresponding scanning tools can be used
to clear the troubleshooting code.
(2) If the troubleshooting code does not
appear for 100 driving cycles running, it
can be eliminated from the database.

5. Assistance to troubleshooting
(1) When C0055 is displayed on the
scanning device, it shall be followed with
two digits (XX). They shall be recorded
along with the other OTC displayed.
(2) Before making an analysis of C0055,
please repair the troubles concerning low
voltage and driving performance or other
electrical troubles.
(3) The connection between the EBCM
and BPMV shall be reliable, fast and free
of corrosion, leakage and/or damage.

1. Description of circuit
Application and release of solenoid is an
inalienable part of EBCM. When the car is
ignited, the storage battery provides power
to the solenoid so that the solenoid relay is
turned on. The EBCM controls the
solenoid valve through the grounding of
relevant coil circuit.

2. Conditions for setup of
troubleshooting codes
Corresponding troubleshooting codes will
be set up when the EBCM detects any
ground fault or solenoid valve short circuit
to the power source.

3. Actions to be taken for setup of
troubleshooting codes
(1) The electromagnetic relay is turned off
and pump motor and solenoid are
disconnected with the power source.
(2) Save the various DTC;
(3) ABS is disabled and ABS alarm lamp
is on.
(4) DDRP is disabled and braking alarm
