Pre-loading device of seat
safety belts

Never remove the

pre-loading device of safety

belts. Only the trained personnel can

repair it.

Seat belt maintenance

Seat safety belts inspection

Check the safety belt to see if it is

damaged or worn,at regular intervals.

The stretched safety belts (e.g. after

accident) should be changed and checked

anchor unit by Chery Service Center

immediately.

Do not try to repair or

lubricate safety belts furling

mechanism. Never modify safety belts

in any way.

Clean seat safety belts

Use interior cleanser or clear lukewarm

water to wash the seat belt and make it dry

naturally. Do not use manual heating

method.

Do not use chemical

cleanser, boiling water,

bleaching agent or dyestuff. Do not let

water seep into seat safety belt furling

mechanism.

Airbags

The airbags and safety belts are helpful to

protect the driver and passengers in the

event of a collision.

Attention:

Airbags will be blaring when inflating.

Besides, there are some innocuous

powers like smog appears. All of these

phenomenons are normal.

The front-seat occupants only assumed

upstanding sitting posture can be protected

effectively.

Wear your safety belt at all

times and keep appropriate

distance between you and the steering

wheel. Only use safety belt can ensure

your body in the correct position.

Front airbag

Do not install a rear-facing

child seat in the front

passenger seat of this vehicle.!

Adjust your seat and backrest to a correct
position, to work with airbag ,in order to
get maximum protection. Please adopt
upright sitting posture, and the underpart
of back should keep close to backrest. The
backswept angle must be less than 30
degrees. Do not move front seat close to
instrument panel too much. You should
grasp the steering wheel with your arms
slightly bent while driving. The ideal
sitting posture helps you to reduce injury
to the driver when the airbag is inflating.

The airbags will be triggered in the event

of a serious impact from the front (or

<30°). Air bag will inflate within one

thousandth second of a collision,the air

bag will bleed air when it touches the

driver’s body,it will buffer the driver’s

movement forward.The airbags will not be

triggered in the event of a minor accident,

a vehicle roll-over, or collisions from the

rear accident, or an impact from the rear

side.

Never allow any objects

to obstruct the area

between the airbag and an occupant.

Testing and servicing of

steering wheel, column

and airbags must be performed by

trained technicians only. Unexpected

airbag activation could result in

personal injury. Cherry Special

Service Centre providers are able to

provide eligible technicians to

maintain your vehicle.

Airbag/seat belt pre-loading
warning light

The indicator light in the instrument

cluster displays for 3 seconds that means

the system is able to be operated when the

ignition key is in position II.

If the indicator light is not on or remains

on that means there is something wrong.

For your safety, please send your vehicle

to Cherry Special Service Center for

testing and maintenance.

The manufacturer of airbag suggests that

the airbag should be renewed after using

for 15 years. The inflating medium and the

efficiency of airbag are going to be

inferior at that time.

If you are not clear for the life of your

vehicle/airbag, the Cherry Special Service

Center will provide relevant information

for you.

The airbag system is only able to be

dealt by Cherry Special Service Center.

Child safety seat

Do not install a rear-facing

child seat in the front

passenger seat of this vehicle.

Always comply with the installation

instructions provided by the manufacturer

of the child seats.

Never allow infants or small children

to sit in a passenger's lap

while driving.

Children under 12 years of age or less than

150 cm tall must use special children

safety seats (e.g. infant seat, child safety

seats or heightened cushion) and fix them.

Child safety seats must be applicable and

approved by government.

The cooperative usage for this sort of

safety seat and relevant safety belts will

provide child with maximum protection

Children less than 10 Kg weight or

under 1 year of age (infant) should

be in infant bed in the rear seat, and

lie infant low on the bed and fix

him/her. The best protection is to use

rear-facing child seat in the rear seat.
