* If equipped

Warning Lights              

If the engine is running, the warning lights 

turns on in blinking or stationary mode, 

it means that your vehicle parts do not 

function properly.

Some warning lights get on along with 

audio alarming simultaneously. 

Do pay attention to these warnings and you 

should contact to Iran Khodro authorized 

dealers as soon as possible.

Central Warning Light (Stop) 

The light is connected to the following warning 
lights:
1- Engine Oil
2- Error in the battery
3- The engine water temperature 
- Also, the light is connected to the Coolant 
Temperature Indicator System.

When the engine is running, if the light 

blinks, it’s necessary to stop.

Contact to the Iran Khodro authorized dealers.

Engine Oil Temperature and Pressure 

Warning Light 

The light is connected to the Stop Warning 
Light.
It’s necessary to stop.

The warning indicates the following:
- Low Fluid pressure.
- The oil doesn’t reach to the top of lubricating 
circuit.Please fill up the oil reservoir adequately.  
- Oil High Temperature. 
To reduce oil temperature, reduce the speed. 
Contact to the Iran Khodro authorized dealers.  

Hand Brake Warning Light and 

emptiness of brake oil and fault in Brake 

electric supply  system (EBD) 

The light indicates one of the followings:
- The Hand Brake is active or not released 
completely. The brake fluid is extremely reduced. 
(If the hand brake is released and the light is still on) 
- There is a fault in the Brake Electrical 
Distribution System (EBD), if lighting the light 
is along with lighting the ABS warning light.
It’s necessary to stop.

Contact to the Iran Khodro authorized dealers.

Anti-brake system Warning Light (ABS)

If the switch is ignited, this light stays on 

for a few seconds.

If the light stays on continually, it means that 
there is a fault in ABS System.
Anyway, the vehicle normal brake system 
operates. If the light gets on along with audio 
alarming and warning message on display 
panel, indicates an unusual mode related to 
ABS System. If so, contact to the Iran Khodro 
authorized dealers.

Warning

- Accepted oil level with gauge should be 
checked in smooth area after 10 minutes 
the engine is off.
- The driver should not keep driving, when 
the stop light gets on for any reason. In 
this case ,if the driver keeps driving, he/
she will be responsible for any damages 
to the vehicle.

Battery Charge Warning Light

Indicates the following:

- A fault in charging circuit.

- Battery powers less or starts input.

- Generator belt is broke-up or loosened.

- Generator failure

- If so, contact to one of the Iran Khodro 

authorized dealers.

Engine Diagnostic system Warning 

Light

The light comes on after the engine is 

ignited for a few seconds. In case this light 

comes on during driving, it means that 

there is a fault in the fuel ignition control 

system or in the emission control system.

In gasoline engines, if the warning light blinks, 

there is a risk the catalyzer to be damaged.

Contact to one of the Iran Khodro authorized 

dealers.

Fuel Warning Light 

If this light turns on for first time, it means that 

there is gasoline for at least 50 kilometers 

(The tank capacity is about 50 liter).

Safety Belt Warning Light* 

After starting the ignition switch, the light 

turns on, if the seat belt is not fastened. 

When the vehicle speed exceeds 5 km/h, 

lighting of the warning lamp gets on along 

with audio alarming for 60 seconds.

Passenger Air Bag Deactivation 

Warning Light

When this light turns on, it means that 

passenger air bag is inactived. As long 

as the passenger air bag is inactived, 

this light remains on. In any case, if the 

warning light blinks, you should contact to 

one of the Iran Khodro authorized dealers.

Air Bag Warning Light

When engine is ignited, this light turns on for 

a few seconds. At the time driving if the light 

turns on together with an audio-warning or 

a message on the display, it means that 

there is a fault in the air bags system.

Immobilizer System Light

When the light blinks, it means that the 

immobilizer system is actived.

Coolant High Temperature Warning Light

- The indicator in “A” position shows 

improper temperature.

- The indicator in “B” position shows a 

high coolant temperature.

In this case the Stop Warning Light blinks. 

It’s necessary to stop.

Setting the Service Indicator 

The Iran Khodro authorized dealers set 

this, after each service.

If you do the setting by yourself, follow 

the followings to set the indicator:

- Off the switch.

- Press and hold button “1” .

- Turn on the switch.

*Kilometer Counter Indicator starts 

countdown for 10 seconds.

- Hold the button “1” for 10 seconds. The 

sign [=.] is displayed. Then turn off the 

switch and turn on again.

Front Instrument Panel Display 

Starting the engine, two functions are 

displayed.

- Service Indicator

- Kilometer Counter Indicator, which after 

the engine is off, shows the driver’s side 

door is open and locking/unlocking too 

for 30 seconds. 

The Vehicle Service Indicator 

The indicator points the periodic service 

time that is offered by manufacturer.

Function

When the ignition switch is on, the Wrench 

Indicator which indicates periodic service 

comes on for 5 seconds.

The Kilometer Counter shows the total 

remained kilometer to next service 

(Approximately).

Example: It remains 4800 kilometer to 

next service.

After the ignition switch is on, the following 

image is displayed for 5 seconds.

After 5 seconds, the indicator returns to 

its normal position and displays the total 

or daily distance traversed by the vehicle 

and wrench indicator will be turned off.

It remains less than 1000km to next 

service.

Example:It remains 900km to next 

service.

- After the ignition switch is on, the wrench 

indicator blinks for 5 seconds and then 

the kilometer counter indicator returns 

to the normal position ,wrench indicator 

stays on.

Time of the vehicle service is terminated.

5 seconds after the ignition switch is on, 

the wrench indicator and the service 

termination kilometer blinks.

Example:  The following display shows 

that time of service is terminated and the 

vehicle has traversed  300 Km more than 

what is allowed; and the vehicle should 

be serviced as soon as possible.

Then, the indicator returns to its normal 

position and shows the total or daily 

distance traversed by the vehicle and 

wrench indicator stays on.

Display Panel

This page shows the following information:

- Clock: Since 12 midnight to 12 at noon 

points to AM and from 12  at noon to 12 

midnight points to PM. The default is 1.00 AM.

- Date: The year could be set from 00 to 

99, the month from 01 to 12. And the day 

could be set from 01 to approximately 31. 

The date default display is 01/01/91.

- Outside Temperature: If the temperature 

is between +3 till – 3˚C, the sign blinks.

- The doors position: The door indicator 

on display panel is blinking while each 

door is open.

(Example: In up image,  front left door is open).

Rear Alarm System

The system contains two intelligent 

sensors (A) which is installed on the 

vehicle bumper and is connected to the 

interior electronic network of the vehicle

Adjusting the Parameters 

Press the button (1) for 3 seconds to 

enter adjusting menu. 

The information that is blinking is 

changeable. In this case, by pressing 

on the button (1) each time, one of the 

following information could be adjusted:

The clock – the minute – the year – the 

month – the day

By pressing the button (2), the mentioned 

information is changed. If press the 

button and hold it, statistics will increase 

swiftly and by reaching the last no returns 

to prime number again. If there is no 

operation on display panel for 8 seconds, 

the panel comes to normal position and 

the information is recorded in it.

Rear Alarm System 

The system contains two intelligent 

sensors which is installed on the vehicle 

bumper and is connected to the interior 

electronic network of the vehicle

Visual /audible rear parking assistance 

operation

By this system, the driver will be aware 

of the vehicle rear obstacles in two ways: 

Visual(via instrument panel)  and audible 

(via the horn sound).

When the ignition switch is on and the 

gear is in reverse position, the system 

is activated to inform the driver of the 

obstacle by half second alarm and lighting 

the rear segments on the display.

While there is no obstacle within 150 cm 

of the rear bumper, the display segments 

as per the above image is on but it’s not 

heard any sound signal.

In case of obstacle within the nearer 150 

cm of the rear bumper (left/right), the 

segment is off and sound signal is heard.

The nearer obstacle (within 50 cm) 

causes that the system sensitivity will 

increase swiftly the sound signal speed 

up and more segments get off.

For example, the following image shows 

an obstacle within 100 to 150 cm of the 

rear bumper (right side).

The display segments blink and prolong 

sound signal is heard within the obstacle 

less than 50 cm.

Error Alarm for the Sensor Cut off 

Any of sensor  cut off is differentiated by  the 

rear alarm intelligent system and informs 

the driver by visual/audible message.

Right side Sensor cut off 

Rapid single buzzer (3 times) and right 

side segments of display starts  blinking.

 

Left side sensor or  both sensors cut off

Two rapid buzzers (3 times) and both 

sides and left  segments of display starts  

blinking.

Warning

This system is meant to help the driver to 
distinguish the objects within 150cm with 
speed of less than 5km/h (from behind 
the vehicle during running with reverse 
gear). It also has limitations regarding 
estimation of detectable distance and 
the obstructions, therefore, in cases of 
having undetectable obstruction, driver’s  
precaution is necessary.
- This system uses the sound signals to 
help facilitation of parking and obtaining 
the distance to the obstruction, during 
movement with reverse gear.
- Therefore, existence of this system, 
should never cause sudden movement and 
careless driving back side. (Reverse gear).
- The driver should always take precautions 
about sudden cases that might happen 
during usage of reverse gear. Mobile 
obstructions (Kids,trolleys bicycles, 
pets,...) or short and very tin obstructions 
(Road blocks, tin guard rails,...)

Speedometer 

If you press button (1), the total distance 

and distance traversed  per day are 

displayed. To set the kilometer counter 

to zero, push the button no. (1) when 

the kilometer counter is displayed until it 

shows zero.

Adjusting the illumination intensity of 

the instrument cluster

Push the button (when the lights are 

on) to adjust illumination intensity of the 

instrument cluster. Release the button as 

soon as the minimum (or maximum) setting 

is obtained and then push the button to 

increase (or decrease) brightness. As soon 

as the lighting is of the required brightness, 

release the button. 

Flasher or Blinker light

Press the flasher button. All the direction 

indicators start blinking. Even, when the 

engine is off, the flasher stays on.

Automatic starting of the flashers 

At the time of a sudden braking, flashers 

get on automatically; this will continue 

for about 5 seconds. Upon releasing the 

brake or deceleration, scintillator are off. 

again, the lights will get off automatically.

By  pressing  on  the  button,  the  flashers 

turn off.

CONTROLS

Warning

In case the vehicle speed is reduced 

at once (hard brake), flasher comes 

on automatically is  activated for at 

least 5 seconds. This is for warning 

the severe reduction of the speed.

Warning

Before driving in night:

Ensure of proper function of electric equipments and adjust the lights(in case of overloading 

the vehicle).

In general, take care of the lights, not to be covered by dirt, mud, snow or any other objects.

Right and left turn signals

Position 1, 2:  push the lights lever down 

(position 1) when moving to the left.

push the lights lever up (position 2) when 

moving to the right.

(Green turn signal light blinks on the 

instrument cluster as to the direction of 

the turning)

Horn

push the button on the end part of the 

light lever.

Main beam and low beam headlamp

Pull the lever toward steering wheel 

completely to change to main beam (in 

this position the main beam blue indicator 

comes on).

To sign with head lamp, pull the lever 

toward the steering wheel midway and 

release it.

Lights key

Position 1: all lights are OFF

Position 2: parking lamp, rear lights and 

instrument cluster ON

Position 3: head lamp on 

Warning chime: 

It warns the driver that the head lamps 

are ON. It comes on when the driver  or 

passenger door is open and engine is 

ignited OFF.

INDICATOR LEVER

Cuation

Using of front or rear fog lamps in 

normal or rainy weather and in day 

or night is prohibited. Because they 

‘re too dazzling.

Use them only, when they are needed.

Front fog lamps

Turn the middle part of the light lever one 

stage upward to turn the front fog lamps. 

When the fog lamps are ON, a green 

indicator comes on the instrument cluster.

These lights come on when the small 

lights are ON.

Rear fog lamp

 Turn the middle part of the light lever two 

stages upward. When the fog lamps is 

ON, a yellow indicator on the instrument 

cluster comes on.

This light comes on in following situations:

- Small Lights are ON.

- Side lamps and front fog lamp (if 

available) are ON.

Please use the fog lamp only when your 

visibility range is low, otherwise it cause 

nuisance to other road users in ordinary 

conditions.

Lighting system “ Leaving of Vehicle “

When you decide to leave your vehicle and 

the surrounding lighting is very less; you 

can keep the area alight for 30 seconds, by 

the above capability (i.e. Lighting system) 

by turning on the front head lamps. For this 

purpose do the followings:

- Keep the switch in stop position (or 

remove the key switch from its place).

- Turn off the lights

- Then pull the indicator lever once 

towards yourself.

- Get out of the vehicle and lock the vehicle.

- The front head lamps will get on and 

again will get off automatically after 30

seconds.

DIRECTION INDICATOR LEVER

Warning

Before starting driving at night:

Ensure the correct function of the 

electrical equipment and adjust the 

vehicle lights (in case of load more 

than the normal). In general the 

lamps should not be covered (by 

dirty, mud, snow or any object).

Cuation

Switch position change (0, 1, 2 and 

vice versa) should be done with a 

short pause.

Head lamp height adjustment

The height of the headlamps should be 

adjusted in relation to the load in the vehicle.

It is recommended to adjust the head 

lamp in relation to the load in the vehicle.

0- 1 or 2 people in front seats

1- 5 people

2- 5 people + max. Authorized load.

The first adjustment is in zero position .

Warning

Ensure the wiper blades are not frosted (otherwise the wiper engine gets hot)

Check the blades and replace them when needed (approx. once a year)

Wash the windscreen regularly. If before stopping the windshield wiper (0 mode) to turn off the motor, wiper blades return to zero position.

If you switch the ignition OFF (position 0) before switching the wipers, the wiper blades stop at any position.

When you ignite ON, take the wiper at position 0, then the blades return to the initial position.

Ensure the wiper blades are in position 0 (stop), when you open the engine compartment (risk of injury)

WIPER AND SCREEN WASHER

Wiper 

Wiper and screen washer control is by 

the lever on the right side of the steering 

wheel and only when the switch is ON.

0- OFF

1- Intermittent ( The interval between two 

movements of wipers depends on speed 

of the vehicle)

2- Slow 

3- Fast

Single wiper

Push the lever downward and release it 

to have single wiper.

If you keep the lever down, the wiper 

functions continuously.

Windscreen washing

Soon after pulling the lever, spray of the 

water gets started ,then the wipers will 

start moving after 0.7 second . Spray 

of water continues as long as you have 

the lever pulled towards yourself. But 

soon after releasing the lever , wipers 

stop moving after 3 times of movements. 

Then the fourth movement of the wiper 

takes place after 3 seconds cessation to 

complete cleaning of the glass.

BRAKES

Warning

- ABS braking system functions in 

ordinary situation by any move of 

the pedal. In emergency situations, 

press the pedal hard and do not take 

your foot out of the pedal.

- This system shall be as persuasion for 

sudden acceleration and very fast driving.

That could not be a replacement for 

caution and responsibility of the driver.

This system is an auxiliary system 

which controls the situation based 

on the conditions.

- In sliding surfaces, the dragged 

distance of the vehicle will be increased. 

Therefore after taking off the vehicle 

from the puddles or after washing of 

the vehicle, ensure the proper function 

of brakes, by using them frequently. 

Because all sets of disc and lining pads 

are wet, in this situation.

Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and 

electronic brake force distribution 

system (EBD)

ABS will help you avoid skidding 

by electronically controlling braking 

pressure. It will also help you maintain 

steering control when braking on slippery 

surfaces or when braking hard.

During activation of the ABS system, such 

as routine brake, brake force increases 

with foot increasing pressure.

Note

When replacing tires or wheels, use 

only the size and type approved by the 

manufacturer company.

The ABS works automatically.

 If this warning lights comes on it 

means there is a problem in the ABS 

system which may cause lack of control 

when braking

This  indicator  shows  the  fault               

in the Electronic brake force 

distribution which may cause lack of 

control when braking.

You must stop

Refer to the Iran Khodro authorized 

dealer for two above cases.

Accessory system during emergency 

braking

This system help to achieve proper brake 

force very fast in emergency situations and 

reduce stoppage distance. This system 

functions when the pedal resistance has 

decreased and effect of the braking has 

increased. Flashers or blinking hazard 

lights come on automatically depending 

on the acceleration. They may be 

stopped manually by driver.

BRAKES

Warning

-When you stop your vehicle on a 

steep place, turn the wheels toward 

pavement and pull handbrake.

-When the ignition is off, brake 

booster does not function and you 

should press pedal more forcefully 

when braking.

-When the engine is OFF, the 

hydraulic steering wheel and brake 

do not function

-Avoid sudden acceleration and braking.

Handbrake

Pull the handbrake when you stop and 

park the vehicle.

Releasing handbrake

Take its handle and press the button on 

it, then press the handbrake downward.

 If this light comes on it means the 

handbrake is not released yet or is not 

released properly.
