2.10.7.1 Replacement of Camshaft Position Sensor 

Dismantlement Procedure 

Warning! See "Warnings Regarding Accumulator with Oil Pipe Disconnected" in 
"Warnings and Cautions". 

1.  Disconnect the battery negative 

electrode cable. Refer to 2.12.6.1 
Battery Disconnection. 

2. Disconnect camshaft position 

sensor wiring harness connector.

3.  Dismantle the fixing bolts of 

sensor . 

4.  Dismantle the camshaft position 

sensor.

Installation Procedure: 

1.  Inspect to confirm whether the 

camshaft position sensor seals 
are intact.

2.  Install camshaft position sensor 

and tighten the fixing bolt. 

Torque: 9Nm (Metric) 6.66 lb-ft 
(English system)
