Removing and installing radiator grille

3. Radiator grille

Carry out following work:
– Remove bolts -3-.
– Pull radiator grille -1- out of front bumper cover -2- in direction

of -arrow a-.

Carry out following work:
– Push radiator grille -1- into front bumper cover -2-.
– With slight pressure, engage radiator grille -1- -arrow b- in front

bumper cover -2-.

Note

Align radiator grille -1- if necessary.

– Fit bolts -3- and tighten them.
Specified torque for bolts -3-: 2 Nm.

3.3.1

Removing

Carry out following work:
– Remove radiator grille 

⇒ page 261

 .

– Disengage all locking hooks -arrows- of the trim cover with VW

emblem -1-.

– Remove trim cover with VW emblem -1- from support -2-.
