INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Regular Cab)

(a) Install the curtain shield airbag with the 6 bolts.

Torque:

11 N·m {110 kgf·cm, 8ft·lbf}

NOTICE:

Do not twist the curtain shield airbag when installing it.

(b) Connect the connector.

NOTICE:

When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

2. INSTALL CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab)

(a) Install the curtain shield airbag with the 8 bolts.

Torque:

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBA...

11 N·m {110 kgf·cm, 8ft·lbf}

NOTICE:

Do not twist the curtain shield airbag when installing it.

(b) Connect the connector.

NOTICE:

When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

3. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Refer to the procedures from "INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY" (for Double cab)

(b) Refer to the procedures from "INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY" (for regular cab)

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected

5. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light
