8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH 

a. Install the reclining adjuster inside cover with the screw.  

9. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER RH 

a. Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

b. Connect the seatback cover bracket to the seatback pad. 

NOTE:



Be careful not to damage the cover.  



When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

c. Install the seatback cover wires.  

d. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback pad.

10. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH 

a. Install the seatback cover with pad to the seatback spring.  

b. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.

c. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback spring.

d. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback spring.

e. Connect the seatback cover bracket to the seatback spring and install the nut. 

Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

f. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback cover.  

11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER RH 

a. Attach the 2 claws to install the hinge cover. 

CAUTION: After the seatback trim cover is assembled, make sure the side 

airbag strap is not twisted.
