Mounting the engine in a 
universal stand

Special tools

1

Remove the side cover and gasket on the 
right and left-hand sides.

2

Undo the clamping for the wiring to the 
starter motor on the left-hand side.

3

Bolt spacer 99 349 onto the right and left 
hand side. Use the bolts for the side covers.

4

Place the engine in the universal stand. Use 
fixture 98 163, bolt on the fixture using 
bolts M8x25 and washer M8.
