Installation of radio communication transmitters

Before installing any after-market radio communication transmitter,
you can contact a PEUGEOT dealer for the specification of

transmitters which can be fitted (frequency, maximum power,

aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the
Vehicle Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2004/104/EC).

Depending on the legislation in force in the country, certain
safety equipment may be compulsory: high visibility safety vests,

warning triangles, breathalyzers, spare bulbs, spare fuses, fire

extinguisher, first aid kit, mud flaps at the rear of the vehicle.

The fitting of electrical equipment or accessories which are not
recommended by PEUGEOT may result in a failure of your
vehicle's electronic system and excessive electrical consumption.

Contact a PEUGEOT dealer for information on the range of
recommended equipment and accessories.

"Multimedia":

portable navigation systems, Wi-Fi on Board...

By going to a PEUGEOT dealer you can also obtain products for
cleaning and maintenance (exterior and interior) - including ecological
products from the "TECHNATURE" range, topping up products
(screenwash, ...), touch-up pens and aerosols for the exact colour of
your vehicle, refills (cartridge for temporary tyre repair kit...), ...

The GTW and towed load values indicated apply up to a maximum altitude of 1000 metres; the towed load mentioned must be reduced by 10 % for
every additional 1000 metres.
The maximum permited speed is reduced when towing (observe the legislation in force in your country).
High ambient temperatures may result in a reduction in the performance of the vehicle to protect the engine; when the ambient temperature is
higher than 37 °C, limit the towed weight.

*  The weight of the braked trailer can be increased, within the GTW limit, on condition that the GVW of the towing vehicle is reduced by the same

amount; warning: towing with a lightly loaded towing vehicle may have an adverse effect on its road holding.

IDENTIFICATION MARKINGS

Various visible markings for the identification of your vehicle.

A.

Vehicle identification number (VIN) under the bonnet.

This number is engraved on the bodywork near the damper
support.

For access to it, raise the plastic cover.

C.  Manufacturer's label.

This self-destructing label affixed to the right hand middle door pillar
carries the following information:

-  the manufacturer's name,

-  the European Type Approval number,
-  the vehicle identification number (VIN),
-  the gross vehicle weight (GVW),

-  the gross train weight (GTW),

-  the maximum front axle weight,

-  the maximum rear axle weight.

The tyre pressures must be checked when the tyres are cold, at
least once a month.

Low tyre pressures increase fuel consumption.

B.

Vehicle identification number (VIN) at the bottom of the
windscreen.

This number is indicated on a self-adhesive label which is visible
through the windscreen.

d.  Tyre/paint label.

This label, affixed to the door aperture, driver's side, carries the
following information:

-  the tyre inflation pressures, laden and unladen,
-  the tyre sizes (including the load index and speed rating),
-  the inflation pressure of the spare wheel,
-  the paint colour code.

EMERGENCY OR ASSISTANCE CALL

202

RCZ_en_Chap10a_BTA_ed01-2015

EMERGENCY OR ASSISTANCE CALL

In an emergency, press this button for more than
2 seconds. Flashing of the green LED and a voice

message confirm that the call has been made to the

"PEUGEOT Connect SOS" centre*.

The green LED remains on (without flashing) when communication is

established. It goes off at the end of communication.

When the ignition is switched on, the green
LED comes on for 3 seconds indicating that
the system is operating correctly.

Pressing this button again immediately cancels the request.

The cancellation is confirmed by a voice message.

Press this button for more than 2 seconds to request

assistance if the vehicle breaks down.
A voice message confirms that the call has been made**.

Pressing this button again immediately cancels the request. The green

LED goes off. Cancellation is confirmed by a voice message.
To cancel a call, tell the "PEUGEOT Connect SOS" call centre that the call
was a mistake.

"PEUGEOT Connect SOS" immediately locates your vehicle, starts
communication with you in your language**, and where necessary sends
the appropriate public emergency services**. In countries where the
service is not available, or when the locating service has been expressly
declined, the call sent directly to the emergency services (112) without the
vehicle location.

If an impact is detected by the airbag control unit, and
independently of the deployment of any airbags, an emergency call
is made automatically.

*  Subject to the general conditions for the service available from dealers

and to technological and technical limitations.

If the orange LED flashes: there is a system

fault.
If the orange LED is on continuously: the
backup battery must be replaced.
In either case, contact a PEUGEOT dealer.

If you purchased your vehicle outside the PEUGEOT dealer network,

we invite you to have a dealer check the configuration of these services

and, if desired, modified to suit your wishes. In a multi-lingual country,

configuration is possible in the official national language of your choice.

For technical reasons and in particular to improve the quality of

"PEUGEOT CONNECT services" services to customers, the manufacturer
reserves the right to carry out updates to the vehicle's on-board telematic
system.
