SYMPTOM: Rear window defogger does not activate, or does
not go off after activating.

CHECK REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER OUTPUT SIGNAL

1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
2. Check voltage between combination meter harness connector M19 terminal 37 (L/W) and ground.

Rear window defogger relay
(Refer to EL-100.)

Rear window defogger circuit

I

Rear window defogger filament
(Refer to EL-101.)

CHECK DEFOGGER RELAY COIL SIDE CIRCUIT

1. Disconnect combination meter harness connector.
2. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
3. Check voltage between combination meter harness connector M19 terminal 37 (L/W) and ground.

Check continuity between combination meter harness connector M18 terminal 20 (LG/R) and ground.
