4. Operate the rear power window switch to raise/lower the rear

door glass until the rear door regulator to glass bolts (A) can be

seen and remove.

5. Raise the rear door glass and hold in place with suitable tool or approximately two inches of masking tape. 
6. Remove the bolts (B) from the rear door glass regulator (1) and

guide channel nuts (A).

7. Disconnect the harness connector from the rear door glass reg-

ulator motor (1).

8. Remove rear door regulator to glass bolts (B) and the rear door

glass regulator.

9. Remove power window motor from rear door glass regulator (if necessary). Refer to 

GW-23, "Removal

and Installation"

.

Inspection after removal

Check the rear door glass regulator for the following items: 

• Gear wear

• Rear door glass regulator deformation

• Spring damage

• Grease condition for each sliding part

If a malfunction is detected, replace or grease it.

Installation

1. Install power window motor to rear door glass regulator (if necessary). Refer to 

GW-23, "Removal and

Installation"

.

2. Connect the harness connector to the rear door glass regulator,

then install the rear door glass regulator and guide channel and

secure with nuts (A) and bolts (B).

3. Install the rear door glass from outside to ensure that it is in both

the rear door front and rear glass channels. Install the rear door

glass to regulator bolts (A).

4. Reposition the vapor barrier.
5. Install the rear door finisher. Refer to 

INT-17, "Removal and Installation"

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Remove rear door glass regulator. Refer to 

GW-19, "Removal and Installation"

.

2. Remove screws (A) and rear power window motor (1) from rear

door glass regulator (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL

1. Remove the luggage side lower finisher. Refer to 

INT-31, "LUGGAGE SIDE LOWER FINISHER :

Removal and Installation"

.

2. Remove the luggage side upper finisher. Refer to 

INT-32, "LUGGAGE SIDE UPPER FINISHER :

Removal and Installation"

.

3. Remove quarter glass from the inside of vehicle using a suitable tool.

WARNING:

When cutting the quarter window from the vehicle, always wear safety glasses and heavy gloves

to help prevent glass splinters from entering your eyes or cutting your hands.

CAUTION:

• Apply protective tape around the quarter glass to protect the painted surface.

• Be careful not to scratch the quarter window glass when removing.

• Do not set or stand the quarter window glass on its edge. Small chips may develop into cracks. 

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

• Install the quarter glass from outside the vehicle to ensure that it is even around the top, bottom and sides of

the opening.
