< DTC/CIRCUIT DIAGNOSIS >

LIFTING MOTOR (FRONT)

LIFTING MOTOR (FRONT)

Description

INFOID:0000000009176650

• The lifting motor LH (front) is installed to the seat frame. 

• The lifting motor LH (front) is activated with the driver seat control unit.

• The lifter (front) is moved upward/downward by changing the rotation direction of lifting motor LH (front). 

Component Function Check

 CHECK FUNCTION

1. Select “SEAT LIFTER FR” in “ACTIVE TEST” mode with CONSULT.

2. Check the lifting motor LH (front) operation.

Is the operation of relevant parts normal? 

YES

>> Inspection End.

NO

>> Perform diagnosis procedure. Refer to 

ADP-144, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to 

ADP-55, "WITH AROUND VIEW MONITOR : Wiring Diagram"

or 

ADP-40, "WITHOUT AROUND VIEW MONITOR : Wiring Diagram"

.

1.

 CHECK LIFTING MOTOR LH (FRONT) POWER SUPPLY

1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC.

2. Perform “ACTIVE TEST” (“SEAT LIFTER FR“) with CONSULT.

3. Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace lifting motor LH (front). Refer to 

SE-86, "Removal and Installation"

.

NO

>> GO TO 2.

 CHECK LIFTING MOTOR LH (FRONT) CIRCUIT

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect driver seat control unit and lifting motor LH (front).

3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and lifting motor LH (front) harness

connector.

4. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

3.

 CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

Refer to 

GI-49, "Intermittent Incident"

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to 

ADP-161, "Removal and Installation"

.

NO

>> Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.

Description

• The lifting motor LH (rear) is installed to the seat frame.

• The lifting motor LH (rear) is activated with the driver seat control unit.

• The seat lifter (rear) is moved upward/downward by changing the rotation direction of lifting motor LH (rear).

>> Perform diagnosis procedure. Refer to 

ADP-146, "Diagnosis Procedure"

 CHECK LIFTING MOTOR LH (REAR) POWER SUPPLY

1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC.

2. Perform “ACTIVE TEST” (“SEAT LIFTER RR“) with CONSULT.

3. Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace lifting motor LH (rear). Refer to 

SE-86, "Removal and Installation"

.

NO

>> GO TO 2.

 CHECK LIFTING MOTOR (REAR) CIRCUIT

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect driver seat control unit and lifting motor LH (rear).

3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and lifting motor LH (rear) harness

connector.
