EQUIPMENT

The joy of cruising has been heightened with delightful features
installed at every turn.

LEXUS Navigation System

The LEXUS navigation system, with
the latest functions and high-speed
hardware built in, can pinpoint your
destination by accessing a large
bank of map data, calculate the rec-
ommended route and provide on-
screen guidance in one simple and
quick process.

The 6.5-inch wide LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen
responds quickly and is easy to use.

The navigation ECU that reads the map data on the
DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) is located in the luggage
room. The GPS (Global Positioning System) antenna
is located under the package tray.

DVD has been selected as the medium for storing
the map data enabling a large volume of data to
be utilized.

With the adoption of a touch panel, multiple functions
can be handled with a simple configuration of
switches. The audio system is also operated through
the touch panel.

The easy-to-see guidance display includes a three-
position tilt display function to suit the tastes of the
occupants. The tilt angle is controlled by a switch
on the panel surrounding the screen.

To insert or eject CDs and cassettes, press the “Open”
switch on the panel surrounding the screen. The dis-
play will slide open.
