Installation

1. 

CAUTION: A new O-ring seal is to be installed.

Install the fuel rail Schraeder valve.

Torque: 6 Nm

CAUTION: A new O-ring seal is to be installed.

Install the fuel rail pressure sensor.

Torque: 6 Nm

3. NOTE: Install new O-ring seals.

Lubricate and install the new O-rings.

If removed, install the injectors.

CAUTION: A new O-ring seal is to be installed.

Install the fuel line to fuel rail seal assembly.

5.

Install the fuel injector clamp plate.

Torque: 6 Nm

Install the fuel rail.

Torque: 10 Nm

7.

Connect and secure the electrical connectors.

8.

Install the engine cover.

Connect the battery ground cable and install the cover.

Removal and Installation

Removal

• NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the LH rear quarter trim panel.

Refer to: 

C-Pillar Trim Panel

 (501-05 Interior Trim and

Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Torque: 10 Nm

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
