Front Door Window Glass (76.31.01) – Armoured 

Removal  

Vehicles with fixed windows  

 

1 . Remove the front door trim panel.  

For additional information, refer to 

Front Door Trim Panel (76.34.01)

 CAUTION: Protect the front door window glass and the front door window frame. Failure to follow this 

instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.  

 
Using a suitable tool, cut the door trim seal.

 CAUTION: Protect the front door window glass and the front door window frame. Failure to follow this 

instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.  

 
Remove the front door window glass seal.  

 

 

 

4 . Disconnect the front door speaker electrical connector.

Vehicles 

 

5 . Remove the front door speaker.  

 

 

6 . Remove the front door access panel.  

  

 

Remove the retaining nuts.

 

 

 

 

7 . Remove the exterior mirror access panel.  

  

 

Remove the retaining screws.

 

 

 

 

8 . Remove the front door handle release cable access panel. 

  

 

Remove the retaining screw.

9 . Remove the front door armoured panel.  

  

 

A: Remove the retaining nuts. 

  

 

B: Remove the 50mm (1.97 inch) long retaining bolts.

  

 

C: Remove the 20mm (0.79 inch) long retaining bolts.

  

 

D: Remove the 25mm (0.98 inch) long retaining bolts.

 

 

 

 

10 . Remove the front door inner weathershield. 

 

 

11 . Using suitable tie straps support the front door fixed window glass. 

 

 

 

12 . Release the front door window glass support. 

  

 

Undo the retaining bolt. 

 

 
 

 

 

13 . Remove the front door window glass support. 

  

 

Remove the retaining nut.

 

 

Vehicles with power windows  

 

14 . Remove the front door window regulator and motor.

All vehicles

 CAUTION: Protect the front door window glass and the front door window frame. Failure to follow this 

instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.  

 
NOTE:  

  

Remove the front door window glass tie straps. 

 
NOTE:  

  

Remove the front door window glass from outside of the front door window glass frame. 

 
Remove the front door window glass.  

  

1) Reposition the front door window glass. 

  

2) Remove the front door window glass.
