POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH INSPECTION

1.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.

Remove the front door trim. (Refer to the Body group
- front door)

3.

Disconnect the 14P connector from the switch.

4.

Check for continuity between the terminals in each
switch position according to the table. If the continuity
condition is not normal, replace the switch.

1.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.

Remove the front door trim. (Refer to the Body group
- front door)

3.

Disconnect the 10P connector from the switch.

switch position according to the table. If the continuity
condition is not normal, replace the switch.

1.

Remove the rear door trim. (Refer to the Body group
- rear door)

3.

Disconnect the 8P connector from the switch.

Check for continuity between the terminals in each
switch position according to the table. If the continuity
condition is not normal, replace the switch.

1.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.

Remove the junction box.

3.

Check for continuity between the terminals.

4.

There should be continuity between the No.6 in the
I/P-F and No.14 terminal in the I/P-D when power and
ground are connected to the No.10 terminal in the
I/P-E and No.2 terminal in the I/P-J.

5.

There should be no continuity between the No.6 termi-
nal in the I/P-F and No.14 terminal in the I/P-D when
power is disconnected.
