EXTERIOR

LATCH ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

1.

Remove the tailgate trim. (See page BD- 14)

2.

Disconnect the outside handle rod (A), actuator rod
(B).

After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the
latch assembly (A).

4.

Disconnect the connector (B).

Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE

-

Make sure the connector is connected properly
and the connecting rod is connected properly.

Make sure the tailgate opens properly and locks
securely.

ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

1.

Remove the tailgate trim. (See page BD- 14)

2.

Disconnect the outside handle rod (A).

3.

After loosening the mounting bolt and nuts, then re-
move the actuator assembly (C).

Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE

Make sure the connector is connected properly

BODY (INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR)

OUTSIDE HANDLE REPLACEMENT

1.

Remove the tailgate trim. (See page BD- 14)

2.

Remove the actuator assembly. (See page BD- 15)

3.

Disconnect the outside handle rod (A).

4.

Loosen the outside handle mounting nuts.

5.

Remove the outside handle (A).

Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE

-

Make sure the tailgate opens properly and locks
securely.

LIFTER REPLACEMENT

1.

Using a screwdriver (A), lift up slightly the socket clips
(B) of both ends on the lifer (D), and then remove the
lifter from the bracket (C).

2.

Push the socket of the lifter into the bracket for instal-
lation.

EXTERIOR

SPEAKER REPLACEMENT

1.

Remove the tailgate trim. (See page BD- 14)

2.

Disconnect the connector (A).

3.

After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the
speaker (B).

TAILGATE WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT

NOTE

-

Do net apply sealant to the body.

1.

Remove the tailgate weather strip (A).

BODY (INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR)

FUEL FILL DOOR REPLACEMENT

1.

After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the
fuel fill door (A).

2.

Check that the fuel fill door (A) fits flush against the
body. If necessary, adjust it.

-

Make sure the fuel fill door opens properly and
locks securely.
