RENEW fuse FC3 (30 A). CHECK the operation of the system. If the fuse AE5: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT FUSE FC3 Connect Fuse FC3 (RJB). 1 Measure the voltage between fuse FC3 (30 A) and ground. 2 Does the meter display battery voltage? GO to AE6 . No REPAIR the voltage supply to fuse FC3 with the aid of the Wiring Diagrams. AE6: CHECK FUSE F3 CHECK Fuse F3 (CJB). 1 Is the fuse OK? GO to AE7 . No RENEW fuse F3 (5 A). CHECK the operation of the system. If the fuse blows AE7: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT FUSE F3 Connect Fuse F3 (CJB). 1 Ignition switch in position II. 2 Measure the voltage between fuse F3 (5 A) and ground. 3 Does the meter display battery voltage? GO to AE8 . No REPAIR the voltage supply to fuse F3 with the aid of the Wiring Diagrams. AE8: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE PARKING BRAKE MODULE (TERMINAL 30) Ignition switch in position 0. 1 Disconnect Connector C4CB01 from the parking brake module. 2 Measure the voltage between the parking brake module, connector 3 Is battery voltage measured in both cases? GO to AE10 . No GO to AE9 . AE9: CHECK FOR OPEN CIRCUIT BETWEEN THE RJB AND THE PARKING BRAKE Disconnect Connector C4BR02-C from the RJB. 1 Measure the resistance between the RJB, connector C4BR02-C, pin 303, connector C4CB01, pin 15, circuit SBR02A (YE/RD), wiring harness side. 2 Is a resistance of less than 2 Ohms registered? CHECK and RENEW the RJB if necessary. CHECK the operation of the No LOCATE and REPAIR the break in the circuit between the parking brake AE10: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE PARKING BRAKE MODULE (TERMINAL 30) Measure the voltage between the parking brake module, connector 1 Does the meter display battery voltage? |
