Assembly

CAUTION: Use protective covers. 

All vehicles 

10. This step is only necessary if the oil ring is 

damaged. 

11. Ensure that no oil ring is installed. 

12. Clamp the output shaft in a vise. 

13. Coat all running surfaces with clean transmission 

fluid before assembly. 

Material: 

Transmission Oil 75W FE (WSS-

M2C200-D2 / 7U7J-M2C200-BA)

NOTE: Make sure that the installation marks 
are aligned. 

1. Synchronizer hub 
2. Blocker bar 
3. Sliding collar 
4. Snap ring 

16. Special Tool(s): 

308-604

Fit a new snap ring. 
The collar on the retaining ring must face 
upward.

NOTE: Make sure that the installation marks 
are aligned. 

1. Synchronizer hub 
2. Blocker bar 
3. Sliding collar

20. Fit a new snap ring.

NOTE: Do not oil taper roller bearings. 

Install a new transmission-side taper roller 
bearing on the output shaft. 

Special Tool(s): 

308-046

CAUTION: Make sure that a new bolt is 

installed. 
NOTE: Make sure that the component is 
clean and free of foreign material. 
NOTE: Left-hand thread. 

Torque: 

100 Nm

NOTE: Do not oil taper roller bearings. 

Install a new clutch-side taper roller bearing on 
the output shaft.
