Disassembly and Assembly of Subassemblies

Disassembly 

CAUTION: Make sure vice jaw protectors are used.

Adapter for 205-071 (Thrust Pad)

Remover, Bearing (Main Tool)

Hydraulic press

1. Clamp the differential in the vice. 

2. Special Tool(s): 

205-071-01

3. Special Tool(s):

4. Remove the following items: 

1. Loosen: Four turn(s) 

 

 

 

 

  

 

Assembly 

CAUTION: Make sure vice jaw protectors are used.

3. Save three bolts for reassembly the ring 

gear. 

5.   

6. Clamp the differential in the vice. 

7. Install the three bolts saved during disassembly. 

Torque: 

82 Nm

CAUTION: Make sure that new bolts are 

installed. 

Torque: 

82 Nm 

10.

NOTE: Make sure a new component is 
installed. 

Do not oil the taper roller bearing.
