transaxle

stand.

suitable 
paper to 
absorb 
any 
escaping 
fluid. 

Discard the 
input shaft 
bearing 
retainer 
bolts. 

3. Shift the 

gearshift 
mechanism 
to neutral 
position.

4. Remove 

the 
gearshift 
linkage.

2. Remove the following items: 

1. Remove the clutch slave cylinder. Check the 

clutch slave cylinder for damage or leaks. 

2. Transmission housing retaining bolts 
3. Discard the input shaft seal.

4. Ensure that the guide pins remain installed.
