Installation 

Hose clamp remover/installer

1. Refer to: 

Cooling System Draining and Vacuum 

Filling

 (303-03B Engine Cooling - 2.0L EcoBoost 

SCTi (149kW/203PS) - MI4, General Procedures).

CAUTION: Use suitable paper to absorb 

any escaping fluid. 

General Equipment: 

Hose clamp 

remover/installer

CAUTION: Use suitable paper to absorb 

any escaping fluid. 

Torque: 

10 Nm

3. Loosen: 2 turn(s)

WARNING: Take extra care when 

handling the compressed spring. 

5.

NOTE: Only tighten the nut and bolts finger 
tight at this stage. 

  

  

 

Installation

NOTE: Use suitable paper to absorb any 
escaping fluid. 

Torque: 

10 Nm 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. 

2.

WARNING: Take extra care when 

handling the compressed spring. 

3. Torque: 20 Nm

Torque: 

4 Nm 

5. Torque:
