Removal and Installation

Installation 

1. Refer to: 

Battery Disconnect and Connect

Procedures). 

2. Remove the following items:

Cowl Panel Grille

 (501-02 Front 

End Body Panels, Removal and 
Installation). 
Refer to: 

Turbocharger

 (303-04K Fuel 

Charging and Controls - Turbocharger - 
2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (129kW/175PS) - DW, 
Removal and Installation). 

3.

NOTE: Make sure that a new component is 
installed. 

Torque: 

10 Nm 

4.

NOTE: Install new nuts and a new gasket. 

Torque: 

 

12 Nm 
25 Nm

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fluid container

NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid. 

General Equipment:

Torque: 

20 Nm 

3. Torque: 10 Nm 

4. Torque: 10 Nm

Installation 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. 

2. Material: 

Silicone Sealant LB (WSE-M4G323-A4 / 

2U7J-M4G323-AA)

 

3. Fill the engine with engine oil.
