19. Remove the left-hand halfshaft.

20. Remove the front subframe.

CAUTION: Twisting the exhaust flexible pipe more than 2 degrees may cause damage resulting in failure.

22. Remove the accessory drive belt.

23. Secure the Power Steering Pump to one side. 

General Equipment: 

Cable ties

 

24. Secure the A/C compressor to one side.

25. Disconnect the PCM electrical connectors.

26. Disconnect the fuel supply line and fuel return line quick release couplings.

WARNING: Make sure that the engine and transmission assembly is on wooden blocks and secured with 

suitable retaining straps. 

Using a suitable workshop table.

29. Remove also the engine front mount stud. 

30. Raise the vehicle and remove the engine and transaxle assembly.
