CAUTION: Only rotate the crankshaft 

clockwise. 

Rotate the crankshaft until each piston is at 
(TDC) and measure the valve clearance(s). 

41. Repeat the procedure as necessary until all valve 

clearances are within the specified tolerance. 

42. Apply a small bead of sealant to the areas 

indicated.

Silicone Sealant LB (WSE-M4G323-A4 / 

2U7J-M4G323-AA)

Removal

Hose clamp remover/installer
Trolley jack

1. Remove the right-hand head lamp unit. 

Refer to: Scheinwerfer (417-01

3. Remove the air cleaner.

4. Disconnect the battery.

5. Raise the vehicle for access
