NOTE: Note the position of the brake tubes to aid 
installation.

6 mm brake tubes 14 Nm 
8 mm brake tubes 18 Nm

CAUTIONS: 

If accidentally dropped or knocked install a new 

hydraulic control unit (HCU) and module assembly.

The blanking caps/plugs must not be removed 

until the brake tubes are ready to be connected. 

To install, reverse the removal procedure. 

2. Bleed the brake system.

1. Remove the hydraulic control unit (HCU).  

Refer to: 

Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)

Anti-Lock Control, Removal and Installation).

3. Clean the HCU contact surface.

4. Remove all traces of the cleaner and foreign 

material.

Pneumatic vacuum gun

WARNING: Make sure that the module is 

correctly located on the hydraulic control unit 
(HCU). 

CAUTIONS: 

If accidentally dropped or knocked install 

a new module. 

Take extra care not to damage the seal. 

NOTE: Make sure that the seal is correctly 
located. 

Torque: 

 

0.5 Nm

2. Install the HCU.

3. Configure the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) 

program.

4. Configure the remote function actuator (RFA).

5. Carry out the ABS Function Test.

6. Carry out a road test.
