3. Depress the brake pedal, check the brake fluid 

level in the brake fluid reservoir and top up as 
necessary with brake fluid.

Vehicles with 2.5L engine or 2.2L diesel engine 

All except vehicles with 2.5L engine or 2.2L diesel 
engine

CAUTION: Make sure that all openings 

are sealed. 

General Equipment: 

Hose clamp(s)

 

Loosen: 

90°

WARNING: The brake caliper housing 

Torx bolts must not be removed. 

CAUTION: Make sure that no load is 

placed on the brake hose.  

Torque: 

28 Nm

Installation 

All except vehicles with 2.5L engine or 2.2L diesel 
engine

CAUTION: Make sure that no load is 

placed on the brake hose.  

Torque: 

28 Nm

NOTE: Note the position of the brake pads to 
aid installation. 

9. Torque: 18 Nm

CAUTION: Make sure that the mating 

faces are clean and free of foreign material 
and that no grease is applied to the brake 
pad guides. 

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
