(9) Position the seat cushion cover flaps back and

install the recliner handle and screw.

(10) Install the seat. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

SEAT - INSTALLATION)

SEAT BACK

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the seat. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

SEAT - REMOVAL)

(2) Unzip the seat back cover and expose the

recliner bolts.

(3) Remove the recliner bolts and remove the seat

back. (Fig. 7)

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the seat back onto the recliners and

install the bolts.

(2) Tighten the bolts to 28 N·m (21 ft. lbs.).
(3) Complete seat back cover installation by zip-

ping up the cover.

(4) Install the seat. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

SEAT - INSTALLATION)

SEAT BACK COVER

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the seat. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

SEAT - REMOVAL)

(2) Unzip the seat back cover and expose the

recliner bolts.

(3) Remove the recliner bolts and remove the seat

back. (Fig. 8)

(4) Disconnect the j-straps at the bottom of the

seat back.

(5) Remove the seat back cover hog rings.

(6) Position the seat back cover/cushion aside and

release the seat belt pass through bezel locking tabs.
(Fig. 9)

(7) Remove the seat belt pass through bezel.
(8) Remove the seat back cushion cover and cush-

ion.

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the seat back cushion and cover onto

the seat back frame.

(2) Install new hog rings.
(3) Lock j-straps at the bottom of the seat back
(4) Install the seat belt pass through bezel and

seat the locking tabs fully.

(5) Install the seat back onto the recliners and

install the bolts.

(6) Tighten the bolts to 28 N·m (21 ft. lbs.).
(7) Complete seat back cover installation by zip-

ping up the cover.

(8) Install the seat. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

SEAT - INSTALLATION)

SEAT BACK RECLINER

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the seat. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

SEAT - REMOVAL)

(2) Remove the recliner handle screw and handle,

if equipped.

(3) Position the seat cushion cover aside and dis-

connect the recliner cable. (Fig. 10)

(4) Unzip and position aside the seat back cover.

(Fig. 11)

(5) Remove the recliner bolts and remove the

recliner.

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the recliner and install the bolts.
(2) Tighten the bolts so 28 N·m (21 ft. lbs.).
(3) Position the seat back cover and zip closed.
(4) Connect the recliner cable.
(5) Position the seat cushion cover back and install

the recliner handle and screw, if equipped.

(6) Install the seat. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

SEAT - INSTALLATION)

SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the seat. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

SEAT - REMOVAL)

(2) Remove the screw and remove the recliner han-

dle. (Fig. 12)

(3) Remove the seat belt buckle bolt and buckle.

(Fig. 13)

(4) Remove the bolts attaching the recliners to the

seat cushion.

(5) Remove

the

bolts

and

remove

the

child

restraint anchorage bars, if equipped.

(6) Unclip the recliner cable and remove the seat

back assembly. (Fig. 14)

(7) Separate seat cushion from seat back.

INSTALLATION

(1) Position the seat cushion assembly and seat

back assembly into place.

(2) Connect recliner cable to the recliner and clip

cable seat frame.

(3) Install the seat back and recliners onto the

seat cushion and install the bolts.

(4) Tighten the bolts to 28 N·m (21 ft. lbs.).
(5) Install the child restraint anchorage bars and

install the bolts, if equipped.

(6) Tighten the bolts to 28 N·m (21 ft. lbs.).
(7) Install the seat belt buckle and install the bolt.
(8) Tighten the bolt to 40 N·m (30 ft. lbs.).
(9) Position the seat cushion cover flaps back and

install the recliner handle and screw.

(10) Install the seat. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

SEAT - INSTALLATION)

SEAT CUSHION COVER

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the seat adjuster. (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/SEAT ADJUSTERS - REMOVAL)

(2) Unclip the recliner cable and remove the seat

back assembly. (Fig. 15)

(3) Disconnect the cushion cover j-straps.
(4) Remove the cover/cushion from the frame.
(5) Remove the hog rings and remove the cover.

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the cover onto the seat cushion foam

and install new hog rings.

(2) Place the cushion/cover onto the cushion frame

and connect the j-straps.

(3) Position the seat back assembly into place and

clip the recliner cable to the frame.

(4) Install the seat adjuster. (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/SEAT ADJUSTERS - INSTALLATION)
