8. Remove the HCU assembly (2) through the left

wheel well (1).

INSTALLATION

NOTE: If the ABM is being replaced with a new
ABM it must be reprogrammed with the use of a
scantool.

1. Reinstall the HCU assembly (2) through the left

wheel well (1).

2. Install HCU assembly (2) on the mounting bracket

(1) and Tighten the nuts to 15 N·m (11 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the brake lines (1) to the HCU (2) and

tighten to 19 N·m (170 in. lbs.).

4. Install the electrical harness connector (2) to the

HCU/ABM assembly (1).

5. Install the left front tire.

6. Install the battery cables to the battery.

7. Bleed ABS brake system (Refer to 5 - BRAKES -

STANDARD PROCEDURE).
