FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN
WEATHERSTRIP

REMOVAL

(1) Remove flag cover, door trim panel, water dam

as necessary.

(2) Remove door glass.
(3) Loosen side view mirror, as necessary.
(4) Remove weatherstrip fasteners (Fig. 5).
(5) Pull weatherstrip from lower front channel

above door latch.

(6) Pull run weatherstrip from window frame

channel.

INSTALLATION

(1) Clean butyl material from door flange area.
(2) Place door run weatherstrip in position on win-

dow frame channel (Fig. 5).

(3) Starting in the corners, push door run weath-

erstrip into window frame channel.

(4) Push weatherstrip into lower front channel

above door latch.

(5) Install weatherstrip fasteners.
(6) Install door glass.
(7) Tighten side view mirror.

(8) Install pull cup support bracket, water shield,

door trim panel and flag trim.

FRONT DOOR INNER BELT
WEATHERSTRIP

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

(1) Remove door trim panel.
(2) Remove inner belt weatherstrip from door. If

necessary, use a rubber mallet and a block of wood,
tapping upward at each clip attaching the molding to
the door (Fig. 5).

REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Remove door trim panel. (Refer to 23 - BODY/

DOOR - FRONT/TRIM PANEL - REMOVAL).

(2) Pull upward on rear edge of inner belt weath-

erstrip (Fig. 6).

(3) Remove weatherstrip from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

(1) Align the weatherstrip to the “A” and “B” pil-

lars. Push down on weatherstrip to engage channel
to door panel (Fig. 5).

(2) Install door trim panel.

INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Start leading edge of weatherstrip on vehicle

(Fig. 6).

(2) Press the leading edge of the weatherstrip for-

ward until edge is tight to the mirror flag.

(3) Press weatherstrip into position on door panel.
(4) Install door trim panel. (Refer to 23 - BODY/

DOOR - FRONT/TRIM PANEL - INSTALLATION).

FRONT DOOR OUTER BELT
WEATHERSTRIP

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

(1) Open door glass.
(2) Remove weatherstrip screw at the rearward

edge of door (Fig. 7).

(3) Pull upward at rear end of outer belt weather-

strip.

(4) Remove outer belt weatherstrip from vehicle.

REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Open door glass.
(2) Remove weatherstrip screw at the rearward

edge of door (Fig. 8).

(3) Pull upward at rear end of outer belt weather-

strip.

(4) Remove outer belt weatherstrip from vehicle.

(1) Starting at leading edge of door, press weather-

strip into position (Fig. 7).

(2) Install screw into weatherstrip.
(3) Operate window and check for interference.

INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Place belt molding in position (Fig. 8).
(2) Starting at leading edge of door, press weather-

strip into position

(3) Install screw into weatherstrip.
(4) Operate window and check for interference.

HEADER WEATHERSTRIP
SEAL RETAINER - PT-27

REMOVAL

(1) Remove

header

and

A-piller

weatherstrip.

(Refer

(2) Remove screws attaching weatherstrip header

seal retainer to windshield surround frame (Fig. 9).

(3) Remove weatherstrip header seal retainer from

vehicle.

INSTALLATION

(1) Place weatherstrip header seal retainer into

position (Fig. 9).

(2) Install screws attaching weatherstrip header

seal retainer to windshield surround frame.

(3) Install header and A-piller weatherstrip. (Refer

to 23 - BODY/WEATHERSTRIP/SEALS/HEADER/
HEADER

AND

A-PILLAR

WEATHERSTRIP

-

INSTALLATION).

LIFTGATE WEATHERSTRIP

REMOVAL

(1) Open liftgate.
(2) Remove weatherstrip, pull outward on the

weatherstrip. (Fig. 10)

(3) Remove outer belt weatherstrip from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

(1) Starting at bottom center, press weatherstrip

into position (Fig. 10).

(2) Open and close liftgate and check for interfer-

ence.

(1) Lower top.
(2) Remove sport bar inner and outer covers (Refer

to

23

COVER - REMOVAL), and (Refer to 23 - BODY/IN-
TERIOR/SPORT BAR OUTER COVER - REMOVAL).

(3) Remove

inner

belt

weatherstrip

attaching

screws at sport bar, and remove (Fig. 11).

(4) Adjust top open/close to access outer belt

screws (Fig. 12).

(5) Remove attaching screws at outer belt weath-

erstrip.

(6) Remove outer weatherstrip quarter panel from

decklid.

INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Place outer weatherstrip quarter panel into

position (Fig. 12).

(2) Adjust top open/close to access outer belt

screws.

(3) Install attaching screws to outer belt weather-

strip - starting at 1st (forward) hole, then 4th, 3rd
and 2nd. Make sure to press down on weatherstrip
while tightening screws.

(4) Install inner belt weatherstrip attaching screws

at sport bar (Fig. 11).

(5) Install sport bar inner and outer covers. (Refer

to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/SPORT BAR - INSTALLA-
TION), and (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/SPORT
BAR - INSTALLATION).

(6) Raise top.
