(2) Pull seat back cover down into position and

install the hog rings (Fig. 232), (Fig. 233), and (Fig.
234).

(3) Pull seat cover down and around the bottom of

the seat back (Fig. 235).

(4) Roll cover upward to hog rings. Cut hog rings

to free cover (Fig. 236).

(5) Connect the J-strap to the upper rod (Fig. 237).

(6) Connect the J-strap to the from lower rod (Fig.

238).

(7) Connect the J-strap and install hog rings (Fig.

239).

(8) Install push pin fasteners. Pull seat back cover

down and smooth out any wrinkles (Fig. 240).

(9) Engage the J-strap retainer (Fig. 241) and (Fig.

242).

(10) Install rear seat back (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/REAR SEAT BACK - INSTALLATION).

(11) Install rear seat. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

REAR SEAT - INSTALLATION).

REAR SEAT BACK CUSHION
COVER/FOAM - PT-27

REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Remove seat from vehicle. (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/REAR SEAT - REMOVAL).

(2) Remove seat back. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

REAR SEAT BACK - REMOVAL).

(3) Disengage J-strap attaching seat cover from

the seat cushion frame.

(4) Pull cover off to the hog rings (Fig. 243).
(5) Cut hog rings attaching seat cover to seat cush-

ion pad.

(6) Remove seat cushion cover and foam from seat

cushion frame (Fig. 244).

INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Place seat cushion cover and foam onto seat

cushion frame (Fig. 245).

(2) Pull cover into position to install hog rings

(Fig. 246).

(3) Engage J-strap attaching seat cover the seat

cushion.

(4) Install seat back. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

REAR SEAT BACK - INSTALLATION).

(5) Install rear seat into vehicle. (Refer to 23 -

BODY/SEATS/REAR SEAT - INSTALLATION).

REAR SEAT BOLSTER - PT-27

REMOVAL

(1) Lower convertible top.
(2) Fold rear seats down and forward.
(3) Remove left rear seat belt lower anchor.
(4) Remove right rear seat belt lower anchor.
(5) Remove push pin fasteners attaching molding

upper seat belt to top well.

(6)

Remove two screws from front side upper bol-

ster assembly to rear seat back panel (Fig. 247).

(7) Remove two screws from the rear attaching

upper bolster assembly to rear seat back panel (Fig.
248).

(8) Remove both bezels at seat belt through holes

in headrest assembly.

(9) Fish right and left seat belt through bolster

assembly.

(10) Remove rear seat bolster from vehicle.
