INSTALLATION

(1) Place bolster into vehicle.
(2) Install right and left seat belt through bolster

assembly.

(3) Install both bezels at seat belt through holes in

headrest assembly.

(4) Install two screws from the rear attaching

upper bolster assembly to rear seat back panel (Fig.
249).

(5) Install two screws from front side upper bolster

assembly to rear seat back panel (Fig. 250).

(6) Install push pin fasteners attaching molding

upper seat belt to top well.

(7) Install right rear seat belt lower anchor.
(8) Install left rear seat belt lower anchor.
(9) Place rear seats in the upright position.
(10) Raise convertible top.

REMOVAL

(1) Remove rear seat bolster from vehicle. (Refer to

23

(2) Remove the two bolster mounting brackets

(Fig. 251).

(3) Remove

push

pin

fasteners

from

upper

retainer.

(4) Cut three hog rings attaching cover together

(Fig. 252).

(5) Remove cover from foam.

INSTALLATION

(1) Install bolster cover onto the foam
(2) Install three hog rings attaching cover together

(Fig. 253).

(3) Install push pin fasteners attaching upper

retainer.

(4) Install the two bolster mounting brackets (Fig.

254).

(5) Install rear seat bolster into vehicle. (Refer to

REAR SEAT CUSHION

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

(1) Remove seat from vehicle.
(2) Remove rear seat cushion side shields.
(3) Remove seat back.
(4) Remove rear seat and track assembly.
(5) Disengage J-strap attaching seat cover from

the seat cushion frame.

(6) Pull cover off to the hog rings.
(7) Cut hog rings attaching seat cover to seat cush-

ion pad.

(8) Remove seat cushion cover from seat cushion.

REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Remove seat from vehicle (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/SEAT - REMOVAL).

(2) Remove rear seat back (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/REAR SEAT BACK - REMOVAL).

(3) Remove seat cushion.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

(1) Position seat cover on cushion.
(2) Align seat cover with cushion alignment inden-

tations.

(3) Install hog rings.
(4) Engage J-strap attaching seat cover to cushion

frame.

(5) Install rear seat and track assembly. Tighten

front track to pan bolts to 12 N·m (9 ft. lbs.) torque.

(6) Install seat back.
(7) Install rear seat cushion side shields.
(8) Install seat in vehicle.

INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY

(1) Place seat cushion position.
(2) Install seat back. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/

REAR SEAT BACK - INSTALLATION).

(3) Install seat in vehicle. (Refer to 23 - BODY/

SEATS/REAR SEAT - INSTALLATION).

REAR SEAT BACK CUSHION /
COVER

REMOVAL

(1) Remove seat from vehicle.
(2) Remove rear seat cushion side shields.
(3) Remove seat back.
(4) Remove track assembly.

(5) Disengage J-strap attaching seat cover from

the seat cushion frame.

(6) Pull cover off to the hog rings.
(7) Cut hog rings attaching seat cover to seat cush-

ion pad.

(8) Remove seat cushion cover from seat cushion.

INSTALLATION

(1) Position seat cover on cushion.
(2) Align seat cover with cushion alignment inden-

tations.

(3) Install hog rings.
(4) Engage J-strap attaching seat cover to front of

seat cushion frame.

(5) Install track assembly. Tighten front track to

pan bolts to 12 N·m (9 ft. lbs.) torque.

(6) Install seat back.
(7) Install rear seat cushion side shields.
(8) Install seat in vehicle.

REAR SEAT LATCH COVER

REMOVAL

(1) Fold the rear seats forward.
(2) Press the locking tabs down on each side of the

latch cover (Fig. 255).

(3) Slide the latch cover forward to remove it from

the latch (Fig. 256).

(4) Remove latch cover from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

(1) Place latch cover in front of the latch (Fig.

257).

(2) Slide the latch cover rearward on to the latch.

(3) Ensure locking tabs are locked into position

(Fig. 258).

(4) Fold the rear seats rearward into position.

UNDER SEAT STORAGE BIN

REMOVAL

(1) Open cargo bin.
(2) Pull cargo bin out until it reaches the end of

the guide (Fig. 259).

(3) Lift upward on cargo bin and remove.
