Wash the car only with cold or
warm water.

Automatic Car Wash

Car wash system that does not employ

brushes is the best. The strong fluid may

spray into the car ,where car wash system

with high-pressure washer.

Before the car enters the

automatic car wash, switch off the

heating blower.

Hand washing

If use the car shampoo, please have ample

water for washing and rinsing. Dry the car

with dry cloth.

After washing the car,

please apply the brakes briefly to

dry the moisture on the brake discs

during driving.

Cleaning the headlamps

Avoid damaging the plastic covers, do not

use abrasives nor strong solvent. Do not

rub dry and never use pointed objects to

clean the cover.

Rear Window Cleaning

For the rear windows, clean only with soft

cloth in order to avoid damaging the

heating parts and antenna. Do not use

strong solvent or pointed objects to clean

the window.

Chassis antisepticising

The chassis is anti-septisized. Check the

protection timely and have it repaired by

Chery Special Service Center if necessary.

Wheel wash

According to the distance, clean the wheel

once a week to avoid dirt sticking to the

brake. Please use wheel shampoo, warm

water or soft sponge. Do not use abrading

material or it will damage the special

processed surface.

Clean set

For best effect, please use right clean set.

Paint peered off

Please contact Chery Special Service

Center for the paint scratch due to the

rocks and gravels on the road.

In order to keep the vehicle

in good and long-term operating

conditions, remove anything that

harm to the paint immediately: bird

droppings, tree excretions, dead

insects, tar spots, road salt or

industrial droppings.

Finish protection

Waxing your vehicle once or twice per

year is good for keeping the surface

smooth, which also made drops cannot

stay on the finish.

When polishing the vehicle,

do not make the polish contact the

plastic or it will be hard to erase. Do

not polish the vehicle under strong

sunlight.

Leather caring

Only use clean set or agent

that applied to leather.

Clean the leather with wet cotton cloth or

tower and dry with clean soft cloth.

Seriously dirty area may be dealt by

neutral agent like soap.

For normally use, we suggest you care the

leather with inpregnant agent per six

months.

Do not make the leather over wet and

especially prevent moisture seep into

pores and slots.

It is printed on the chassis board… in the

engine compartment

It is on the upper part of cylinder.

Style plate

It is on the front of engine.

Vehicle profile plate

It is on upper part inside the luggage

compartment.

Fuel

Fuel tank capacity:

Gasoline engine: 60 liter

Only use the high-quality fuel of the

below mentioned grade, which has cleaner

and other additive. Low-quality fuel will

harm the engine.

Add prompt additive with fuel when you

cannot get high-quality gasoline or the

engine becomes malfunction such as hard

to start, idling unstable or power reducing.

The additive can prevent engine from

rusting and dirtying, clean the fuel system

and keep the throttle valve antifreezing in

the temperature range of 0-15 degree.

Chery Special Service Center obtain tested

additive and out agent are experienced in

the operating and engine dirty clean. We

are always ready to offer our dedicated

service for you.

Do not use the additive or

engine fluid without Chery’s test.

Not only are those additives

unnecessary, but also possibly

damage the engine. This kind of

damage is not guaranteed.

You may hear a sound of “hiss” when you

open the oil tank. This is normal and

please ignore.

Un-lead gasoline 93# and above
(Octane rating is above 93)

Gasoline with higher octane rating is not

harmful but helps nothing.

Vehicle with catalytic converter is strictly

filled by un-lead gasoline.

In order to guarantee the prompt gasoline

filled, the tank opening is designed as neck

withdraw type, which only allow the fuel

filler gun of unlead gasoline enter.

If you fuel with lead

gasoline (even if a little), do not start

the engine. The contained lead will

make a permanent damage to the

catalytic converter. Please contact

the Chery Special Service Center

nearest to you immediately.

Engine oil

Engine oil replacement

Chery suggest you use the pure compound

oil of 10W-30. Your engine is designed for

this kind of oil. For the best performance,

please strictly follow the instruction.

Viscous oil of SAE 5W-40 can also do.
