Automatic transmission oil
level

Chery Special Service Center will check

the level when you have regular

maintenance there.

Battery

Battery does not require much care. The

level will be checked in the regular

maintenance.

The onboard battery is completely

maintenance free. Do not use battery of

other type. The current and capacity of

new battery should keep the same with the

used one or Chery’s requirements. Please

contact Chery Service Center for the

correct specification for battery.

Windshield washer system

The washers of front and rear are watered

by the same reservoir. If necessary, mix

water and windshield shampoo at 1:20.

The correct ratio is shown on the reservoir.

Please turn the cap closely after finish
adding.

Windshield wiper blade check

Slide your fingertip on the edge of the

blade to check the coarseness. Oil, silicone

and fuel might make the blade

malfunctional. We recommend you clean

the blade with glass shampoo.

Wiper blade replacement

Raise the wiper arm and form it with the

blade as a right angle. Press the spring

retainer (arrows) and extract the blade,

pulling toward the wiper arm.

Tire

Precaution for your safety

When you add fuel, please check the tire

pressure after the tire is cold (including the

spare wheel). For detailed pressure, please

see “Capacity and specification”for

reference.

Comply with the correct tire pressure

when high-loaded and high-speed. If the

pressure is insufficient, it may cause

reliability reduced, rolling resistance

increase, tire abrasion accelerate, which

may create traffic accident.

If you have to drive onto the road,

maintain low speed and keep the wheel in

straight-ahead if possible. Avoid

upstanding and sharp obstacles. Brake

carefully to avoid the tire side being

scratched.

Timely check the tire surface for

Scratch, foreign objects and uneven

abrasion . Uneven abrasion may indicate

the wheel is not balanced.

Regulations limit the depth of the scratch

on the surface. When the depth reaches the

limit of 3mm, an abrasion zone will appear

on the tire, which indicates the tire must

be replaced for the reliability and security

operations are lowered.

Dispose the attrited tire

according to the local ecological

regulation. Change the winter tire to

summer tire as soon as road status allows,

which can reduce fuel consumption and

lower the noise.

Wheel replacement

Unprompted tire and wheel

may create accident, which

is not within guarantee range.

Your wheel is carefully chosen to offer

best operation, comfort and security. The

above set specification of wheel and tire is

for steel or aluminum-alloy. Please contact

Chery for other material in use.

We strongly recommend you use the

original tire or those qualified to Chery’s

specification.

If you would like to install

untypical tire or wheel (e.g.

light-alloy wheel or winter tire),

please comply with relative

instruction or contact Chery Service

Center.

Notice:

The speedometer is influenced by the

wheel measure. If the diameter of the

wheel is different with the original one,

please send the vehicle to Chery Special

Service Center for adjusting the

speedometer. Otherwise, you cannot get

the correct configuration from the

speedometer.

Snow chain

Snow chain applies to all the summer and

winter tires list in the table, but only to

front wheel.

Please do not exceed a

maximum speed of 50km/h

when snow chain is used.

Extract the snow chain

immediately for the road

without snow.

When the snow chain is in use, the vehicle

with anti-sliding system might be slightly

abnormal. Switching off the system will

stop it.

Avoid damaging the round cover, extract it

before install the snow chain.

Install the round cover back immediately

after extract the snow chain.

Drive Belts

Drive belt is one of the parts contained

most severe pressure. Therefore, the belt

quality must be reliable to meet the

operational needs.

Only same measure of belt is not enough

when replacing the belt. For security,

please use the original Chery belt. You can

obtain your belt from Chery Special

Service Center.

Tension check for the drive
belt

Notice:

Belt may extend after a period of usage

and the belt will get loose when the

extension reaches some level. That will

lead to malfunction and damage to the

vehicle. Therefore, check is a must after

driving of 1000km.

Check procedure

1. 

Switch off the ignition and take off

the key.

2. 

Press the middle part of the belt with

thumb (approx.100N) to test the

deflection.

     The max deflection: 10mm.

3.  If the flexibility exceeds the limit,

please go to Chery Special Service

Center for adjustment immediately.

Vehicle Wash

Do not dump the washing material with

living garbage. Please use the local

qualified waste treatment.

Only choose the wash area that

will not affect the ecological drainage

system. Clean water is the most important

factor to protect the vehicle finish .
